About this listen

Best-selling author Katherine Valentine delivers the compelling finale to an endearing series set in the close-knit Connecticut town of Dorsetville. Featuring a shocking mystery, an unlikely romance, and barrels of wholesome fun, this inspiring tale offers conflicted characters a fresh start.

With the Lichfield County Fair just around the corner, Dorsetville is a beehive of activity. But is there still time for faith and compassion to help a failing carnival, an aged debutante, and a disillusioned teen?

Any additional comments?

I thought this was supposed to be considered an "inspirational" book. "Recorded Books Inspirational" "Dedicated to stories of faith and the human spirit." This is what the introduction to the book says. So how can you (the publisher - not Audible) classifiy it that way when a couple of times in the book, God's name is taken in vain - yet the author uses alternative slang for other curse words like heck and darn. Except for those curses, the story was ok. Not as good as the prequel.

Excellent Narration

I have gotten to know the folks in Dorsetville and will miss them very much. All of the books in the series tell stories of faith and triumph of the human spirit.

Great story!

Loved it! Reminds me of the beloved "Mitford " series. Valentine does a wonderful job.

Inspiring!

It's such a treat to hear this narrator read such beautiful words of faith. Fills my heart with joy.
Thank you.

Wonderful adventure, all the way!

Is a feel-good sweet series. The story lines are farfetched and I am not catholic, but love happy endings especially attributed to the workings of God.

This last book in the series has a few instances of language that are totally unnecessary and unacceptable so this last book is my least favorite in the series. In my opinion, the first one is the best.

Narrator did a good job, but sometimes you can hear him swallowing and sometimes he mispronounces words and a lot of the time the voices all sound the same, but overall an okay job.

Good series except for this one with the language

I was enjoying this series and was making comparisons between this story and Jan Karon's Mitford series. However, the use of God's name in vain in Chapter 14 ended my listening experience and comparison as Jan would never do that.

shocked at language near the end
