About this listen

Shrieks! Fluttering! She screamed and covered her head as countless little shadows darted around her - Carvies! The pit was full of them. And Lila was surrounded by hundreds of the strange flying slugs. Lila and Jay Cooper have joined their dad on a mission to the jungles of Central America, where a group of American treasure hunters have already become the victims of the deadly curse of Toco-Rey. Before Dr. Cooper can solve the mystery, his children are kidnapped and his integrity is put to the test. What price will he pay to get his children back? Is the treasure in the burial tomb of Kachi-Tochetin really worth more than gold? Follow the Coopers as they explore unknown ruins, plunge through dangerous jungles, face hostile natives, and battle ancient evil forces. Will their courage and faith in God bring them through?

Thanks

Hello my name is Google, that’s a joke. My real name is Jake Lapiga, I live in a big family of 6. I like this book because it shows that no maters or problems are to big for God, the one who gave his life for us when we didn’t deserve it. I am a christian myself. And this book has been a revelation for me. Many thanks to you F. E. P

I loved these books as a kid...

and now I am loving re-living them with my kids! I have been reading the series to my kids, but wound up getting a wisdom tooth pulled half way through this one. We were all eager to finish and nobody wanted to wait until I could talk properly so we decided to come on here and get it. We all enjoyed Mr Peretti reading it to us and I feel it was money well spent. Now, my mouth is still sore, so I am off to find The Legend of Annie Murphy. 😉
