its a great book and I love the characters but the narrator sounds like she should be reading cartoons like Scooby-Doo

Ali Vali should or request this to be narrated by Paige McKinney, much better narrator and able to listen to those books over. It’s hard to listen to the first 2 books!!!

The wrath of Cain.

The Godfather. Except she's the Godmother. I love mob stories. Even better when it's
a woman.

What about Hilarie Mukavitz’s performance did you like?

The voice.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The way her daughter loves her, and when she gave the couple the baby.

I've read this series before absolutely love it! But the narration lacked the passion of the characters. Radcliffe books have great narrators

I love the Cain Casey series. I have already read them all. I'm getting more used to listening to Hilaire Mukavitz. I don't love her voice, but getting familiar w/ it. The book is great, you need to listen to book 1 or read it before you start this one. Thanks to BSB for getting this on audio.

I wish a different narrator was used to bring this book to life. All the books in this series are so amazing. I did listen to the end, only because I love this series so much. I'm sure I will get the rest of the books in this series and probably continue complaining about this narrator. Angela Dawe or Abby Craden would have done a fabulous job.
