About this listen

Inside South Africa's Kruger National Park, ranger Promise discovers the remains of a crashed military drone - and a live missile. Immediately, Promise calls her uncle, Juma, a rhino-poaching kingpin and an illegal arms dealer. With Promise's help, Juma has kept her and her grandparents out of crushing poverty with illicit money.

Alerted US authorities send pararescuemen LB and Wally into the Kruger to secure the crash site. But Juma gets there first and takes the unexploded missile.

This ignites a race to find Juma's camp and then eliminate the evidence before the missile triggers an international incident. LB and Wally must join forces with disgraced Promise and her jaded, dangerous boss, Neels, who wants both Juma and Promise dead. This tense alliance sets out in pursuit of the stolen missile. But how much will Wally and LB be asked to risk so that others may live?

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, I enjoyed these books. It is great to hear both sides of a event. Well told, an very well presented. Being in a unit that works around these guy it is great to hear some stories about them.

What other book might you compare The Devil's Horn to and why?

I have enjoyed all three books.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Adventure into the dark side of the wild animal parks.

Wonderfully told.

You just can't get enough. This was a great series and I hope we get more

I want more!!

I very much enjoyed Robbins' first two Guardian Angels novels, but the plot here seems very unrealistic and the characters stereotyped and simplistic.

Unrealistic plot & characters

So bad in comparison to the Devils Waters. The story, the ending, the characters. The author needed to do more research on South Africa. The accents were just as bad. Rather read with your home accent rather than butcher another one by your attempt.

Disappointment

Of the three books, this one was stupid. The story was just a waste of $2.00
