Soon after arriving at their remote Alaskan hideout, a mega-tsunami sends Sierra and Austin running for their lives. Can they escape a watery death? How will this natural disaster affect Alaska—and all of the Pacific coast?

Meanwhile, Russia and China step up their war on the United States. Battles are being fought on multiple fronts. Neither side has yet resorted to nuclear weapons, but it’s only a matter of time. A little slow but great story and narration.

It can be a little slow in developing but entertaining. I like that it is from a Christian perspective and wish there were more available in this genre. Great narrating:)

Combine some ofthe books and charge more for the book.

Very short stories leaving you hanging to have to keep buying another short story. I like the stories and most characters but it’s like listening to a soap opera. At this point it’s going to take over 20 books to finish these stories.

Excellent Story line!!

I love how these books have several aspects of the same story going. It's awesome how it's written and I can't wait to listen to the next one. the narrator does a great job of capturing the different accents. I'd love to see these stories made into a movie!!

Love the book, BUT…

It took too long to develop the story. I think less time in a tree or dealing with other issues that could’ve done quicker would have been better. Overall, I love the book, the story, and definitely the performance. I will listen to Stacey Glemboski any day.

Loved it, but…

I really like this series so far. But.. I can’t wrap my head around why did the author spend so much time on Sierra and Austin stuck on a tree. I feel like the other story lines moved along nicely. However back in Alaska a whole lot of nothing happened except for the very beginning and the ending. I look forward to the next book in this series. I just really hope there is more development for Sierra and Austin and the folks in the small Alaskan town.

So about a third to a quarter of this book is where the couple is stuck in a tree.

I'm a huge fan of Jamie Lee's books. And I still liked this one and would recommend it, even though it did seem to take too long to develop. I didn't count the total chapters but I think it was somewhere around eight that the couple is stuck in a tree… way way too long. That section of the book is really belabored, but overall it still a decent story worth listening too. I just think it could've been a lot better
If she had developed the story more and not labored so long on the tree. Stacey once again does a great performance and I highly recommend her as a reader. And I'll add even with that criticism of the overall story, I will still purchase the Eagle when it becomes as an audiobook.

Emotional and Inspirational

The story continues from book one and is very emotional and inspirational. A war, an earthquake and a tsunami, how much worse can it get? The people are terrified. This author had to do a lot of research I’m sure with the many things the Generals strategically plans. I was on edge throughout this story and I was rooting so much for Austin, Sierra and the rest of the people to be safe.
This book and the first one seems like real life because I see America going downhill. It would be really terrifying if I didn’t know my God.
It is hard to put these books down. I’m so glad I’m listening to the audio because I can still listen and do my chores. Loved the narrator too. I can’t wait to listen to book three, The Eagle.
I received this audiobook from a different narrator and was not required to write a positive review. All opinions are my own.
