About this listen

The Dragon Defenders series is a best-selling, rip-roaring, pause-resisting series of dragons and their brave child guardians.

The wild and wonderful island home of Flynn and Paddy holds an incredible secret: Dragons live there! When evil boss The Pitbull finds out, he sends his men to kill a dragon, and to bring him back the body. He also wants a dragon’s egg, so he can hatch it in his private zoo. Flynn and Paddy’s world is about to be turned upside down. Will their bravery and skill be enough to stop The Pitbull’s evil plan? The Dragon Defenders is a best-selling, much-loved series with themes of family, resourcefulness, teamwork, conservation, and standing up for what you believe.

My 6th grade son and I loved this book. We will be reading (and listening to) all the books in the series.

Great book!

I did not expect this book to have heroism and familial piety…almost echoes of the exploits of Odysseus. Though at times lighthearted, there is real terror in the risks these boys take to save the wild dragons, and their families fun from cruel avaricious villains.
An exciting story, and one that can form the basis for a vision of the importance of Virtues. Sadly that is missing in much modern fiction.

Heroic feats by two brothers to save the Other

My 5 year old son loved it! Sat in his room and listened to the whole thing in one sitting.

Outstanding
