Publisher's summary

Ty Wilcox doesn’t really believe in superheroes. Then, one is murdered right in front of him.

Enhancer: Book One: Ty is just a normal guy trying to do his best. He’s single, stuck in a dead-end job with the most hateful boss in the universe, and struggling under a mountain of debt.

When he witnesses an impossible battle between two superpowers, every instinct he has tells him to run. Instead, he becomes the owner of a device that can change his life in ways he can barely imagine.

All he has to do is survive for long enough to learn how to use it.

Enhancer: Book Two: Ty Wilcox didn’t really believe in superheroes before he became one himself. Now, he has an incredible power he’s just beginning to understand, lives in a mansion, and is in a relationship with two of the most amazing women alive.

But when a flying, teleporting demon woman appears outside his work, the price of his new life becomes apparent. There’s a supervillain after the device that gives Ty his power. This villain will do anything to get it, and has an entire army at his command.

The price of Ty’s new life is never-ending danger.

Enhancer: Book Three: Ty is no longer the loser he had once been. He’s gone from zero to superhero, all thanks to a device on his wrist that brings a hidden power out into the light. Before Ty came along, only a few of the devices existed. But a secretive villain has learned how to make them, and one of New Lincoln’s most dangerous crime lords has a supply of them as well.

And now, superpower villains - even stronger than Ty - are stepping out of the dark.

The balance of power is changing, and not for the better. Does Ty have the power to stop it, even with his growing team of superheroines at his side?

Warning and minor spoilers: The Enhancer books are intended for mature listeners. They include light game-lit elements, occasional bad language, and are set in a cyberpunk alternate future.

In these stories, you will find attempted murders, actual murder, home invasions, kidnapping, fights, betrayals, destruction of property, random deaths that can be considered self-defense, a really malevolent boss who treats Ty very badly, and a monstrous bad guy who treats him even worse. Most importantly, you will find gorgeous superheroes and beastkin beauties who are comfortable with unconventional, polyamorous, harem relationships, and there are waffles on offer as well.

If you don’t enjoy a good time, these books aren’t for you.

RESEARCH!!!

Step one to becoming a superhero is to FIGURE OUT WHAT YOU CAN DO!!!
Decent story, but can we please have a main character with a LITTLE common sense and a little less self depreciation.

This seried could be better...

After listening to the first book... I was like okay... its just the first book. The author will dig in on the 2nd one, right? right? I listen to the 2nd one and I have the same complaint. The author could have done more and in turn would have made me really invest in the characters instead of skipping minites in order to just... move on. Book 3. Same stuff, different story with a couple of surprises. And still, I'm basically happy I'm done. For the price I paid for all 3 books, I'm okay with the outcome. I'm thinking book 4, hopefully the author will get it together and Im thinking he doesn't have a choose.

Now for my complaint: When you are getting to know someone... let alo e two people whether friends or otherwise, what are the basic questions that must always be covered... NO MATTER WHAT? What are you looking for in a person? Where do you live? Who do you live with? Where do you work/what do you do for a living? When was your last relationship? Blah Blah Blah. Then it goes into the whole open communication thing right? I'm having a bad day. My boss is terrible. I lost my job. The whole in my apartment is going to cost my soul. I need to find a new job. Are we living together now? Do you mind if I move in for a bit until I get my finances in order? Hey, I'm thinking about going for a drug trial? Hey, I forgot to tell you I went for the drug trail. Hey, the drug from the drug is working but I feel funny.... You know... like... Let You Partners Know Whats Up With You... and the Guy MC DOES NOT DO THESE THINGS AT ALL! I know I am female and we are a different species from men... but once you start reading this book... at some point your like... why is he keeping this a secret? I thought they'd be past the... I have to figured this out alone stage... kind of thing. And then you reach book 3 and your like... so he hasn't told them anything yet... still? And for all of the life or death situations and all of the "smashing" they have done, that itd be easy. Its like he keeps his "life" completely seperate from his life with them.

Then theres the whole... they are bad guys trying to kill you... they kill the whimpy bad guys but not the really bad guys. And the really bad guys are the ones that always get away, and come back stronger later. I don't get it. Bane should have been killed at least twice. And outside of the Guy MC, the good guys in this case don't use weapons, really. Just him, and with all of the OP bad guys, you'd think. that would be smart. They don't train, and they have this huge ass mansion... and considering things keep happening... there should be a training ground in that place. And yet... every book... one more new room is shown to the Guy MC.

There are just... things that are so simple. That could make this series so much better. Little details that impact each book and the series overall. And now... for book 4, He will have to tell his women... at the minimum, about the trail drug he took and what he remembers happening. And that will bring up relationship trust issues at least. Drama that is not needed considering someone is always trying to kill them lol.

Fun, silly superhero romp, a geeks dream

Parts of this seem like a geek's fan-fic, with the super-attractive girls lusting after the hero, but it fits the theme and isn't over done so it can be overlooked if it's not your thing.

Over all this is a brilliant super-hero series and I'm looking forward to additional books to join it. The narrator did well, though there are a few miscues that made it into the final recording, but for the length of the recording not many and Graves does a wonderful job at differentiating the personalities of the various characters.

I received a copy of this book at my request in exchange for a fair review.

Frustrating MC. but i finished it i guess

This might be a personal point but in terms of work ethic this guy is....not very consistent. there were a lot of times when he could have been working on his tech but instead he had sex.
which granted yea okay its great to do, but in terms of character development this guy is woefully unprepared most of the time. and when the shit hits the fan he's frustrated by his lack of preparation but he keeps making the same mistakes. at least the powers are unique. and overall its more satisfying than some other books.

Good overall but...

The one thing that kept annoying me was that the MC never considered talking with his potentially significant others about his finical situation. He constantly agonized about debts and bills being due. Discussed problems and solutions with his roommate that he no longer stayed with or even really cared about but not the people he cared about and wanted to be with. Even if nothing in the story changed and the topic was brushed aside, THAT would have been better than not even trying to find a solution with the people he was starting to care about.

OK when they stop having sex for 5 minutes

I enjoyed the overall world and the characters, I'm not a huge fan of harem elements. I don't know how many times the main character could have avoided problems if they just waited to have sex for a while. "I have to modify my armband to because this new villain has a way to circumvent it and my life is in grace danger, but first I gotta bang these hot women!!"

Also it never occurs to ask the 2 women how they live with no jobs and ha also puts up with an amazing amount of shit for money when he literally could become a millionaire in his spare time with his abilities.

Superhero’s oh my

Superhero’s, action, adventure and hot sex what more do you want? I loved the series, it got my attention right away. The way they started with poor kid who needed a break into a fantastic adventure.
The way Chris brought the characters to life was just fantastic.
