Publisher's summary

Who are the finders?

The average person lives with an experience of the world that is rooted in fear, worry, and anxiety. The most common way this manifests is in a persistent sense of discontentment. Something just doesn’t feel quite right.

That something is usually hard to put a finger on. It’s often just a feeling that haunts us in the background, one that leads to endless soul-searching and goal-striving. Although it can disappear when a desire is achieved or a piece of our life that was believed to be missing falls into place, ultimately, the relief is only temporary. Before long, the background feeling that something is not okay returns, and the search begins anew.

You may be surprised to learn that life doesn’t have to be this way. Since 2006, our global scientific research project has been on the trail of the tiny fraction of the population that seems to have escaped this fate. We found thousands of them, and what we learned has been nothing short of astonishing. It will revolutionize your life for the better if you’ll let it.

Best audiobook I've listened to!

This is the best audiobook I've listened to. The wealth of information in the book was astounding. Although I don't know if I am a Finder, I feel like I understand the terrain of Fundamental Well-being much better than ever before. It is definitely something I want to pursue, and thanks to Jeffery Martin and this book I feel I am more than well equipped for the task. If you would like to understand how people who have drastically improved the quality of their lives think and feel, this book is for you.

Complete view of the stages of awakening

I've been on a path for many years: started as a new age pack rat, became a seeker and then became a serious seeker until finally I found it. Seeking stopped and deepening started. Going back and forth between a cocoon (meditation retreats of various length) and daily life, I've experienced many different states of consciousness. As my sense of I changed, my life has changed in many ways.

This book provided a complete view of the stages of awakening with scientific criteria. It helped me understand what I've been through and offered me a great clarity on where I was at in various points of my path and I am at. Some uncertainty and doubts I kept to myself got cleared. And there's underline deep love for humanity.
I truly appreciate the author's work. Thank you!!

comprehensive resource for the awakening community

I’ve been following Byron Katie and Elkhart Tolle for a number of , but not able to create a shift into the “awakened”state before reading Martin’s material. I was never even really sure what the awakened state was (there are many, as it turns out”, and until I started studying Martin’s material, I wasn’t even sure it was real. This might be the most important book you ever read, if you are interested in waking up now, in this lifetime, without having to live in a cave or do a rigorous zen practice for 40 years.

Powerful and Paradigm Shifting

An amazing book that addresses the result of man's search for meaning, and what happens afterwards. I like that it explains the terrain for both seeker and finders alike. I found myself nodding to myself, laughing and shaking my head in recognition of the experiences of many of the people in the different locations. it helped me understand what happens in general for people on this journey and what happened to me specifically when I found myself in different locations thought my life.

This powerful book is a must for Finders, even those who might see themselves as a finder at the time. It will help understand pitfalls as well as some the great benefits of this state of being. Read it listen to it, it will help you, and your friends and family as well, because it makes it plain how finding is just the beginning and sometimes things need to be done to integrate better.

Well done, Jeffery A Martin, this a major contribute and act of service that is greatly appreciated.
