I found this absolutely fascinating. there is so much that happens between the book of Genesis and the book of Exodus. It's like this book was meant to go between those two books.

This book brings Adam and Eve to life. The Bible just does not do them justice. This book lays so many questions to rest and raises so many more thoughts for debate. Hope you take the chance!

Interesting work of fiction. Some may find the narrator's voice annoying, as said someone who got in my car. I had both forms so I could go between them.

The narrators voice made this book even more intense. It was like living the Matrix and taking instructions from Morpheus. The relationship between God, Satan and man was wicked in all avenues available to man. It was very sad. Because I had just finished reading the 12th Planet by Zachariah Stitchen, I could only visualize Adam (Atom) in a petri-dish environment and groomed to know fear to be an obediant slave. It is a great book. Very detailed. It makes you question the concept of Good vs Evil. Who's right and who's wrong. I saw value on both sides ... Poor Adam. He and his family suffered. Either way, I'm glad I heard it for myself. Now I know what my Christian friends are talking about and now I can have feedback.

I enjoyed listening to it as oral history/folklore. It does line up scripturally in most cases. If you are a student of the Bible you will enjoy this supplemental literature about major players in Genesis.

Lumpkin like most religious scholars thinks this is fiction because he cannot imagine Jews had the same structure and organization prior to Jesus' birth. Hey, Audible editors and writers: Will you please stop with the heavy, sober, somber or overly dramatic narrations for anything considered religious. The content can stand on its own.
