About this listen

Fourth-generation fundamentalist Carlton Pearson, a Christian megastar and host, takes a courageous and controversial stand on religion: he proposes a hell-less Christianity and a gospel of inclusion that calls for an end to local and worldwide conflicts and divisions along religious lines.

The Gospel of Inclusion explores the exclusionary doctrines in mainstream religion and concludes that, according to the evidence of the Bible and irrefutable logic, they cannot be true. Bishop Pearson argues that the controlling dogmas of religion are the source of much of the world's ills and that we should turn our backs on proselytizing and holy wars and focus on the real good news: that we are all bound for glory, everybody is saved, and if we believe God loves all mankind, then we have no choice but to have the same attitude ourselves.

The Gospel of Inclusion also tells the story of a powerful religious figure who watched everything he had crumble due to a scandal. Why? He didn't steal money nor did he have inappropriate sexual relationships. Following a revelation from God, he began to preach that a loving God would not condemn most of the human race to hell because they are not Christian. He preaches that God belongs to no religion. The Gospel of Inclusion is the journey of one man's quest to preach a new truth.

Wow!

Excellent story of what can happen when a Christian actually tries to hear God/Holy Spirit instead of blindly swallowing eternal damnation/tithing church dogma.

I was kicked out of my church years ago for questioning their teachings but didn't lose all I had.

Inspiring and about as biblically accurate a representation of God as I've ever heard -- and yes I do read my bible quite a bit!

God is Love and his mercy endures forever!

Preach on Brother Carlton!!!

Highly Recommend

With a scholarly but personal presentation of this most logical and worthy understanding of Jesus’ work and the whole of scripture, My head is spinning. This is a must read for the church and one to be studied closely

Powerful and poignant

He addresses every flaw in the evangelical church with the simple premise of inclusion and it’s poignant. Bishop Pearson was a titan who ended up being cast aside by the church for loving everyone.

The courage to embrace truth

Bishop Pearson's journey from Pentacostal to the Gospel of Inclusion one worth studying. This gospel is not new, as the Bishop states. The courage to walk away from decades of traditional ministry and face the wrath of the religious establishment, makes this book all the more powerful.
The Bishop employs, biblical text and scholarship to support his transformation, this, a mature believer can appreciate. It is difficult to argue the merits of an inclusive gospel in the face of this evidence, when at its core is love. Christ after all teaches love.

Rational And Loving Theology

This is the only theological book I’ve read about the Christian religion that makes any sense. That Jesus died for our sins and that any barrier between us and god is abolished. We are all loved and forgiven no matter who we are, what we believe, or what we’ve done. It is the original message of the Church that was distorted to introduce the concept of eternal damnation. If we worship a god that picks and chooses whom he will save, then we can do the same. However, if we worship a god that loves and saves everyone, then we must do that, too. However, most of us would rather punish those of our choosing than live in a world where everyone is loved and cared for. That’s why we live in the hellish world we have today. Another more loving way is possible. Read this book to find out how.

The voice of hope and reason

I love this book. I have long struggled with these issues. My grandfather was a bishop, my father a pastor, my Mother continues to be an evangelist and yet I have not been convinced to live or to raise my children in the religious tradition. I could not always articulate my feelings as well as they are communicated here. I feel like I am in good company in the inclusion movement. My gift to others who ask why? will be this book. Thank you Carlton. These words are vital and life affirming. To potential buyers, don't hesitate, buy this book and read it or listen to it. This is a declaration of hope and love ❤️.

Love Bishop Pearson

I don’t personally believe in all the things in this book; however, I thoroughly enjoyed listening and am glad it was read by the author himself. RIP Carlton Pearson.
