If you love Infomercials, this book is for you

The book goes on and on about a future "Great Age Reboot" in general terms with little if any practical advice. While I found some nuggets of this material interesting, they were few and far between. At the end of the book there is flood of advice about dietary supplements, and the old standbys improve your diet, have a network of friends and professional advisers, avoid sun exposure, lose weight and increase exercise. The book is not helped by the author reader. A professional reader would have been welcome.

Live, eat, and enjoy life and live longer.

I read the reviews that criticized this book including the manner of speech that the narrator had. One criticized the narrator for having a speech impediment of some sort. I’ve met many people with speech impediments & I also had one as a kid. I was able to work beyond my stuttering and embarrassment. I became a college instructor and a speaker at multiple seminars and conferences. I enjoyed the futuristic ideas that the author shared as well as the plain and simple message of living, healthy, taking care of one’s body and living a longer life. I hope that many of the ideas and concepts spoken of can change the medical world and I pray, and hope that many people will feel the benefits of the medical concepts spoken of. This includes just plain and simple things to be done to live a more energetic and happy life.

Not worth a credit

I saw an interesting review of this book on Apple News and ordered it from Audible. After an hour or so of the author’s self-aggrandizing babble and faked-out statistical “beliefs” I started to skip over the following material. About all that I found interesting was a recommendation to check out NR/NAD. To my way of thinking, the author’s most outrageous claim was a prediction of population growth based upon availability and use of COVID vaccines. This was made by mid-2022 when the pandemic and vaccine denial of conservatives everywhere was well known. Finally, the last few minutes of the book with 14 recommendations just seemed to be cut off. Whatever…. The worst thing I’ve ever heard on Audible in years.

Save your credit

If you really k ow nothing about maintaining good health and saving for the future, this book is great! But for everyone else, this book is a repetitive fantasy about how the future might look, and a rosy one at that! There are a few nuggets of good information about new and soon to come bioengineering that can make our aging bodies better. But not enough to listen to these guys for hours.
