About this listen
Congratulations, you are about to get younger!
Dr. Henry Lodge provides the science. Chris Crowley provides the motivation. And through their New York Times best-selling program, you’ll discover how to put off 70 percent of the normal problems of aging - weakness, sore joints, bad balance - and eliminate 50 percent of serious illness and injury. Plus, prominent Neurologist Allan Hamilton now explains how following “Harry’s Rules” for diet, exercise, and staying emotionally connected directly affects your brain - all the way down to the cellular level. The message is simple: Learn to train for the next third of your life, and you’ll have a ball.

Story
Imagine, if you will, a disease - one that has only subtle outward symptoms but can hijack your entire body without notice; one that transfers easily between parent and child; one that can last a lifetime if untreated. According to Dr. Paul Conti, this is exactly how society should conceptualize trauma: as an out-of-control epidemic with a potentially fatal prognosis. In Trauma: The Invisible Epidemic, Dr. Conti examines the most recent research, clinical best practices, and dozens of real-life stories to present a deeper, richer, and more urgent view of trauma.

Excellent information and an easy listen.
I'm a physical therapist and generally a sceptic reading wellness advice. There is a great deal of good information in this book for me but I think it will seem a bit too demanding to inspire a lot of people. Great mix of story telling and medical advice. I am doing this program now and feel motivated and stronger. I have shared the book with many friends who are embarking on this challenge with me. Well worth the 12 hour listen.

Why split the narrator
The material is great and the multiple people narrating it were all fine - but why in the world would you swap out the voice? It’s so distracting every time they tag out!

Perfect timing and enjoyable
I’m in my early 50’s and considering a career change before retirement. I enjoyed the information in this audiobook and looked forward to jumping back in, twice a day during my dog walks. But my favorite part was the two points of view tittering throughout the book with the same overall message. I plan to listen to this again with my wife on our next road trip. And I plan to share this message with friends & family when they’re ready. Sláinte!
