About this listen

They're brilliant surgeons with stethoscopes and six-pack abs, but beneath those arrogant smirks, these men are hiding hearts encased in ice. Haunted by past tragedies, they've sworn off love, convinced they're better off alone.

Get ready for sparks to fly as witty banter leads to smoldering chemistry, and these guarded surgeons find themselves falling for the women who dare to mend their broken hearts.

This collection will leave you breathless and believing that even the coldest hearts can be thawed by the power of love.

Anticipated some of the story line, but definitely had surprises along the way. Good writing and voices were well done.

Great story lines

I enjoyed all the books but the 4th took a little longer then I would like to get out the back story. The narration overall was great; the male narrator in the last book felt almost like a virtual narrator at times.

Good Series

book one:
hard no. what plot? what romance? all i experienced was a train wreck of toxicity and some mid spice (multiple times in a OPERATING ROOM). also someone should have absolutely taken his medical license & keys bc home boy is a functioning (sometimes) alcoholic. & the potter family practice should be sued for the surplus of sexual advances & manipulations taking place. not to mention miss thing practically kidnapped a 17 year old who lived in the motel room next door when she ran away to cali for her live long acting career that she gave up almost immediately ? i have so many questions but i dont actually want any of them.

i literally am not sure what i just read, but i finished this soley bc the narration from connor crais and heather firth was so good.

tropes: doctor x patient, forbidden romance, workplace romance, grumpy sunshine
vibes: fast-paced toxic mess
Plot- or character-driven? A mix
Strong character development? No
Loveable characters? No
Diverse cast of characters? It's complicated
Flaws of characters a main focus? Yes

I wanted to give this book a better score because I enjoyed book 1. But I do not like series that go one by one for every person and overlap each book. The first book had a good story line... then after they just got boring to me. I made it through book 2 ... then I gave up on book 3 and 4. The narration was good. This was one i picked for the 2 books for 1 credit. I will try again on book 3 and 4 on a rainy day

I DON'T LIKE SERIES LIKE THIS ONE
