About this listen

The Weavers. They were boisterous, rambunctious, some would even say wild, and until recently, unwed.

First, Arlan, the oldest, got himself a mail-order bride, followed by his younger brother, Benjamin, one of identical twins. Now it was Calvin’s turn.

But Calvin’s mail-order bride was different, really different. For one, she was Italian, an immigrant who spoke broken English. She was also the most beautiful woman Calvin had ever seen.

But this vision of loveliness had a not so lovely secret. Can Calvin and his new bride make a go of it while other secrets threaten the family’s peaceful existence?

Find out in this hilarious romp with the Weavers!

What did you love best about The Harvest Time Mail-Order Bride?

The thing I love most about The Harvest Time Mail-Order Bride is the chance to revisit the Weaver family. They are one of Kit Morgan's best families. The Weavers have a strong bond of both loyalty and love, and they never fail to make me laugh.

What did you like best about this story?

Isabella Fortuna Cucinotta brings her Italian flair to the Weaver family. She is bold and speaks her mind. With a fierce loyalty she comes to love her new family. She's not perfect, but she is a Weaver.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene is Isabella explaining how she defeated John Tyler Pittman.

Risate e amore! Molto Bene!

I was anxious to hear this story to see what else had happened to Ben and Charity. But this time it is Ben's twin brother Calvin's turn. Boy did he get a feisty Italian mail order bride! Bella spoke broken English but she could was so beautiful and Calvin was enthralled.. speechless at times. Bella had come seeking a quick marriage but she never even imagined to be so fortunate to land with a family such as the Weavers.
Love, laughter and a serious side comes about as this wonderful series again tells an inspirational story that won my heart again!! More!!!

A Journey of Healing

Who would have ever thought that Calvin Weaver would settle down - and grow up? But his feisty Italian wife sure made him wake up. She was not afraid to speak her mind - in Italian or English - with anyone who crossed her, or her new family. She missed her mother, and Ma Weaver was perfect for her - loving and wise. The Weaver clan is growing faster than ever!

Mama Mia!

Micheal Rahhal is a fantastic narrator!

You get sucked into the story and each individual character. You feel like you're in the simplistic frontier along side the characters during their journey.

Enjoyable story and series.
