About this listen

Surrounded by autumn-touched trees, an ominous Art Deco-inspired 1923 hotel overlooks the raging Atlantic Ocean. A silhouetted figure stands behind one of its dark windows, eagerly awaiting his next guest.

Anna Hall, a workaholic single mom, purchases the infamous and historically-rich Club Blue to fulfill her romanticized dream of being an independent hotel manager. Unaware of the hotel’s baggage, she quickly finds herself overwhelmed by the abnormal amount of freak accidents, the influx of strange guests and the everyday struggle of raising two teenage boys. Balancing her work and motherly responsibly is an uphill battle but Anna refuses to lose the fight. However, as more unexplainable and threatening events occur within the hotel’s twisted corridors, Anna’s stubborn ambition might be the very thing that destroys her family.

Ravens Supprise

After the death of her Husband, Anna, in her forties, and her two teenage Sons, moved to a new home, or rather Hotel in New England. It was here that she planned a new beginning for them, leaving their horrible past behind. It wasn't until later that she learned the truth of the history and the hidden secrets of Sebring Hotel. Now being headstrong and determined to turn things around and make it a place everyone would love, and have to visit. The only problem is someone else had a different plan on mind.

This was as described a riveting horror story as well as some excellent detective work from both boys, They had help from Raven and the previous Hotel Concierge.
This Audio Books Author J.S. Donovan , had a nice story line which kept my intrest from start to end. The Narrator , Cheryl May did a excellent job compared to other's I have listened to. Some are frequent deep breathers, or smack their lips which to me is irritating to me.

I would recommend this book to teens and above.

Good creepy book!

The Haunting at Sebring Hotel
A Riveting Haunted House Mystery Series, Book 13
By: J.S Donovan

A pretty good creepy haunted hotel book with scary ghosts and scarier people! A mom with two teen boys try to start a new life by fixing up an old historical hotel and ends up getting more for their money than they bargained for. The hotel has a very dark history and is occupied already.
Lots of good creepy moments, scary situations with nonhuman and humans, good plot, and satisfying ending.
Narration was easy on the ears and good with voices.

Good Story

I truly enjoyed this book. It was different than any of the other ones I have listened to before so I really enjoyed the story line. Looking forward to the next one.

Good

Anna Hall a dream and now purchasing a run down hotel. Good plot and all she encounters, the few guests, the creaking noises, soon become a nightmare. The authors books are always intriguing and enjoy. Given audio for my voluntary review

Not my kind of story

A decent haunting house story with a well-achieved atmosphere.

Sadly, I disliked the characters to the point that I didn’t care if they lived or died which, of course, made the story less compelling.

If you read for the scares, not for the characters (or have more tolerance for nonsense) you might enjoy it, though
