Great read to quickly acquire a general overview of China's history before teaching the ancient China unit to my 6th grade students.

Quick read for general China History overview

This provides a quick overview of Chinese history and important inventions. The biggest downside is that the narrator has a very mechanic sounding voice. It's not very pleasant to listen to but it is informative given how quick it is to get through. Would recommend for those who want a very brief history of China or a quick non-fiction listen. Nothing exceptional but not terrible either.

A Quick Overview of Chinese History and Inventions

This is a nice outline of Chinese history marred by a narrator who seems intent on butchering most every single Chinese name. Ten minutes of research on google would have greatly improved this.

Horrible, Lazy Narrator
