It is time for the wrongs of the past to be put right. It was never going to be easy....
Amarilla and Infinity have been the catalysts for change that they agreed to be, but they know there is more to be done. If they can befriend the Woeful and persuade the rest of humankind to do the same, then the destructive ways of the Old will forever be behind them.
Amarilla, Infinity, and their friends set out on a journey to find the Woeful. They expect danger but are completely unprepared for everything else that throws itself in their path. Through it all, they must remember what they agreed to do. They must reach the heart of the Woeful community. And then they must be willing to risk losing everything....
The Horses Rejoice is the second book in the Horses Know trilogy. If you enjoyed The Horses Know, you'll love this continuation of the story!

The second in a series, 'The Horses Know' drops you right into multiple story elements that don't ever quite congeal. Once again, Lynn Mann waxes poetic about horses; describing various riding maneuvers in a way only a horse-aficionado can fully appreciate in characteristic wordy manner. Dialogue is realistic and flows well and romance doesn't take away from the story. Woeful race history is expanded upon and characters explored. Resolution in tension feels rushed and not fully developed, but will surely still be plenty entertaining for teen readers. I'm not as impressed with this book as the first, but hold out hope for the final installment of the trilogy.
