A guide to the 60,000-year-old healing system of the Aborigines revealed through one man’s journey to overcome multiple sclerosis
- Written at the request of the Aboriginal people with whom the author stayed
- Explores the use of Dreamtime, spirit guides, and telepathy to discover and reprogram the subconscious motivations, thought patterns, and beliefs behind illness
- Reveals how to tap in to healing support through the body/mind/spirit connection
- Nautilus Silver Medal Winner and ForeWord Reviews Book of the Year finalist
In 1983, award-winning physicist Gary Holz was diagnosed with chronic progressive multiple sclerosis. By 1988, he was a quadriplegic. Then, in 1994, his doctors told him he had two years to live. Desperate and depressed, he followed a synchronistic suggestion and went to Australia to live with a remote Aboriginal tribe. Arriving in a wheelchair, alone, with almost no feeling left from the neck down, Holz embarked on a remarkable healing transformation of body, mind, and spirit and discovered his own gift for healing others.
Written at the request of the Aboriginal healers Holz worked with, this book reveals the beliefs and principles of the 60,000-year-old healing system of the Aborigines of Australia, the world’s oldest continuous culture. Chronicling the step-by-step process that led to his miraculous recovery, he explains the role played by thought in the creation of health or disease and details the five essential steps in the Aboriginal healing process. He explores the use of Dreamtime, spirit guides, and telepathy to discover and reprogram the subconscious motivations behind illness—a process that enacts healing at the cellular and the soul level, where the root of physical illness is found.
Supported by modern science, including quantum physics, Aboriginal medicine enables each of us to tap in to healing support through the power of the body/mind/spirit connection.

Story
In 1945 when the atomic bombs were dropped in WWII, our “protectors” and “watchers” in outer space saw that Earth was on a collision course with disaster. The prime directive of non-interference prevented them from taking any action, but then they came up with a brilliant plan to save Earth and assist her in her ascension. They couldn’t interfere from the “outside”, but maybe they could influence from the “inside”. So the call went out for volunteers to come and help. “Earth is in trouble - who wants to volunteer?”

Critic reviews
"What so many of us seek is not more information but guided wisdom that resonates with a deep place in our soul. One of love, nurturing, and truth that acts as another breadcrumb on the path to our true selves and healing at all levels. Robbie and Gary Holz’s footsteps on this sacred journey are what they share with readers in this book and in their work." (Rik Roberts, psychologist and retired journalist)
“Secrets of Aboriginal Healing is more than a manual for understanding Aboriginal healing secrets. It is an inspiring memoir that provides an immediate soul-healing to anyone who reads it.” (Robert Simmons, Metaguide Magazine/Heaven & Earth Publishing, January 2014)
"Secrets of Aboriginal Healing demonstrates how - against all odds - an ordinary human being can participate in their own healing process and move from extreme illness to high-level wellness. A must read for anyone who wants to gain freedom from disease and other challenging circumstances." (Marilyn McGuire, founder of Nautilus Book Awards)

Story
Not a day goes by without our being called upon to help one another - at home, at work, on the street, on the phone. We do what we can. Yet so many questions come up to complicate this natural response. In this practical helper's companion, the authors explore a path through these confusions and provide support and inspiration for us in our efforts as members of the helping professions, as volunteers, as community activists, or simply as friends and family trying to meet each other's needs.

Shaman, meaning "intermediary between spirit and the natural world", has become a much overused word in the West. It's not a job title one can give oneself, and in indigenous societies a shaman is usually born to this role. Ya'Acov Darling Khan is one of the few Westerners who have been acknowledged as shamans by indigenous elders or teachers. After being hit by lightning, Ya'Acov took a 30-year journey into the heart of shamanism to seek his own healing and to learn how he could serve others with the wisdom he acquired through his experiences.

Fantastic !!
Couldn’t put it down... great info I’ve heard before in different ways but always so helpful to revisit. Has inspired me to write down some of these affirmations from chapter 9 and apply it to my own ‘stuff’... thank you for sharing your gifts Robbie! I know we’ve all got them but mostly undeveloped or unaware it seems. Big love!!

Fantastic book, loved it!
A refreshing book on the power of your mind and spirit. In addition to the overall moral of the book, I’ve picked up some practical tips such as saying “I’m doing my best” instead of “I’m trying” and “I will have” instead of “I want”. What a great journey, thank you!

Absolutely Amazing
I heard Robbie Holz last week on Coast to Coast AM & her interview really intrigued me. It was such an interesting story that it prompted me to buy this book. And let me tell you, it was absolutely amazing! That’s why I made that the headliner. Bc it’s true! Dr Gary Holz’s story is so beautiful.
It really touched me and it’s exactly what I needed to hear at this point in my life. And as a natural scientist, too, I can relate to the conflicts we face regarding how our training shapes our perceptions vs the true nature of this reality. Anyhow, I don’t want to spoil it or say too much more! I’ve said a lot BUT: Get it! It’s TOTALLY worth the read, the time, and the Audible credit!
I’m grateful for this, I enjoyed it & I hope that you do too! Can’t wait to try some of these modalities out!

Eye and heart opening book!
Absolutely needed to listen to this book. As a human with auto-immune myself, I now understand WHY I was so sick and why I need to make even more changes than I already have! I believe, I too, can be healed and will apply what I’ve learned in this book! I am so GRATEFUL that you wrote/published this book. Thank you from the depths of my soul. I needed this information.

Heart warming story
A very heart warming story. Although the healing techniques were really nothing unusual or new, it was encouraging to see them working for Gary and interesting to watch his process., especially from an aboriginal experience.
