Publisher's summary

Thirteen guests. One killer. No escape.

On an island on the coast of Cornwall, cut off from the mainland by the tides for most of the day, thirteen old friends meet at Tregowan Castle for a weekend of revelry.

By the next evening only twelve are still alive.

Amongst them is a killer – but who? As a storm traps them on the island and past betrayals and grievances are revealed, nerves fray and friendships begin to fracture.

But with no escape and no way of calling for help it’s only a matter of time before the killer strikes again. And when everyone is keeping secrets, anybody could be the next victim…

Perfect for fans of Lucy Foley’s The Guest List and Agatha Christie.

Thoroughly Enjoyed This Whodunnit

This book had all of the best pieces of the puzzle hidden until the very end.
Well worth the time and money.

Entertaining!

I love Kristin Atherton and once again, she was fantastic here. I enjoyed the different perspectives and characters. Vicky in particular made me laugh loud. I was worried this would be too similar to The Guest List for me to enjoy, but Kristin's performance kept me present in this story throughout.

Boring- wasted money

This book went on and on without anything happening ( character development I assume) except that the characters were despicable and not interesting. Don’t waste a precious credit because Audible no longer gives refunds unless it’s an accidental purchase or there are technical issues. In my case not under any circumstances. That’s right they blacklist some ppl they deem return too many books. How much is too many is entirely arbitrary.
I bought this out of my SS money after taking an hour to decide hoping it would be good. I wasted what little money I have.
Audible has an antiquated business model and has changed its “ great listening guarantee” I pay two streaming services Netflix and Amazon music and I can listen and watch unlimited. I have to pay audible 15 a month and get 1 book. No thank you.
I’m canceling my account and going to an unlimited streaming service I don’t need to own the book just to listen. It costs
No more to produce a digital book than a movie or music. Why so expensive?
This comes after 7 years of paying them and buying many books!!!
This was unfortunate as I now have nothing to look forward to. There are other services but they do not have the selection. The reason they get away with it is because no one ever complains. They pay and pay and pay…. Even though other services went unlimited years ago.
I wish I could have known this book was awful because honestly, only 1 in so many books are good. Now I have nothing, I’m out 10 bucks besides my monthly fee. It’s a gamble now.
No more. be warned before you spend your money or credit that they no longer honor their own policy.

So disappointed

Believe the bad reviews. Just goes on and on about the same stuff. When the story finally had a good twist (right when I was about to quit), the author took it a direction that was just dumb. Don’t waste a credit.

Audible won't let me return it, but I want to.

Boring, impossible to keep the characters straight because of the one-note narration, and disappointing because I loved "The Perfect Widow." Oh well. If those things would bother you, skip it.

Boring

I couldn’t get through the first five chapters. Maybe it got better later but the first five are so boring I didn’t want to stick around and find out
