About this listen

Forbidden is what we are...

I was 10. You were 19.

You wanted to be a chef. My mom made you a star.

I'm 24. You're 33.

You hold the record for the Sexiest Man Alive.

I'm still the lost, rejected, damaged girl who can't find herself anywhere but in your protective arms.

I loved you when I was 10. I love you now. You call me your best friend, and you still see me as a kid. I'm 25 with a man on one knee in front of me. You're watching through the glass. One word from you is all I need. But you hold a secret that can destroy us both.

I've known you my whole life. Loved you my whole life.

I never thought that when I die, it will be because of you.

Note: This is not a Mafia novel. The Italian Heartthrob is a forbidden, friends-to-lovers stand-alone. The dark themes may set you in tears. Get it now because you have to.

Wasted

I don’t know if the performance or the writing or both. Wished I saw the reviews before I got it.

Happiness, sadness, and tears!

I rally have to say I enjoyed this book and it ability to make feel so much for the characters to the point of tears for them. It is rare to have an author make you feel so much for a character, This author does that with seamless effort!

Yikes…

Story was enough to keep me interested. The narration was like being in high school English class.

DNF

Honestly, I really don’t know if the story was good, what I do know is this is one of the absolute worst “performance” I’ve ever heard. I tapped out by chapter 8

A disappointment

I was seduced by the blurb and advertisement. It started somewhat promising, but quickly went downhill.
The male voice has this utterly horrible Italian accent that doesn’t sound even remotely convincing. Italian men speaking English sound sexy, this one is grating on my nerves. I know it sounds cruel, but honestly, it’s so bad, I gave up on the book 5 hours before the ending.
