About this listen

Renowned Masonic scholar and author W. W. Westcott discusses the formula of masonic rituals and why secrets are an important part of that. He discusses the inclusion of the concept of legends in our rituals and why it is important to separate those legends from historical events. He discusses where some of our symbols came from and what part the Jewish Kabbalah played in the formation of freemasonry. He discussed the Tree of Life and the Hebrew letters as they relate to masonry. He also touches on the Hermetic and Rosicrucian traditions as well as Ancient Egypt and Ancient Greece.

Would you listen to The Kabbalah of Masonry again? Why?

Yes, with excruciating strain.

Who was your favorite character and why?

N/A

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Why is stilted defined as self-conscious? This narrator seems not to know he's terrible.
Why is he employed as a narrator? Does he do it gratis? It's almost painful.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

yes

Any additional comments?

It can't be mentioned enough, this narrator is terrible. Why? ... makes me long for an automated narrator.

This guy reads this whole essay in the most monotonous voice only to get to the end and essentially say, " and if any of this is disputed - you may be right as I don't really know wtf I am talking about". Some of the errant information makes me question his masonic research.
Those two pillars - strength and establishment referring to the house of David. Who is your mother brother? (I don't mean my masonic brother, I mean my brother in humanity).
