About this listen

A darkness shrouds Montana. The Killing Zone, a gritty tale of revenge, mayhem, murder, and miracles. Released on parole after serving 12 years of a 20-year prison sentence, Videl Tanas, vicious leader of the Screaming Skulls outlaw motorcycle club, is obsessed with enacting revenge against the people who testified against him and anyone else who gets in his way.

While Tanas spawns a trail of mayhem and murder across Montana, Native American Sheriff Jim Buchanan closes in on the gang. When Jim's daughter Alma Rose Two Elk, Shaman of the Crow Nation, is kidnapped by Tanas, Jim pursues the gang on horseback into the untamed wilderness of northwestern Montana where an unfulfilled Plains Indian prophesy awaits its revelation.

American Indians and outlaws...

This is a really good story. I've never heard of this author before and I was reluctant to purchase the first two books in this series based on some of the reviews and ratings. I may purchase them at a later date.
This book is very interesting, fast paced and I like the setting and characters. The Native American Indians add a whole new dimension to this story. It does require some suspension of disbelief when spiritual activities are involved however this is minimal and mostly towards the end.
This author reminds me of Bobby Cole's style of writing and even the story a little.
I think the synopsis given is accurate so I won't restate it.
I did enjoy this fast paced book and Recommend it for a fun light read/listen.
J. Rodney Turner does a very good job narrating. He does read VERY SLOW and I would suggest listening to this at 1.25 to 1.5 speed
