Lauren Blakely
For the first time ever in one collection, you can indulge in four sexy, feel-good standalones from #1 NYT Bestseller Lauren Blakely: an office romance, a friends-to-lovers romance, a second-chance romance and an enemies-to-lovers romance! Performed by Andi Arndt, Jason Clarke & Emma Wilder, with special appearances from Erin Mallon, Shane East, Zachary Webber, Julia Whelan & Sebastian York!
ASKING FOR A FRIEND:
I was only trying to help a friend who was finally ready to date again.
I knew what she wanted in a man—smart, funny, ambitious, well-read, and plays a wicked game of badminton.
So I posted a profile for her. It seemed like a good idea at the time—I’d weed through the candidates, and bring her my top picks.
But then he responded. Is it wrong to date the guy I screened for my bestie? Not asking for a friend.
SEX AND OTHER SHINY OBJECTS:
I’ve been curious about a few things I’ve read in romance novels. Do buttons truly go flying across the floor when you rip off a guy’s shirt? Is staircase sex hella hot or does it leave you with a big old bruise mark on your back? And don’t even get me started on all that panty shredding. My best guy friend volunteers to test the scene. We have a plan to keep it PG and but once the buttons start flying, all bets are off…
ONE NIGHT STAND-IN:
My ex is the last person I want to spend 24 hours with, let alone two minutes. We didn’t just break up—we combusted.
Nothing will change that. Not his clever wit, not his ridiculous good looks, and definitely not a wild dash through the city that takes us on an accidental scavenger hunt through our past, giving us a chance to say we’re sorry. But, it’s not like you can fall in love again in 24 hours.
Or can you?
OVERNIGHT SERVICE: Top three reasons why sleeping with the enemy is a bad idea...
1. She’s my fiercest rival.
2. She’s also my fiery ex.
3. We’re competing to win the hottest new client on the market.
I do everything I can to resist her, but my libido has other plans.

This series is fun, flirty and sexy and an all round good time. Each book is a standalone with just the right narrators to keep you wanting more.
Asking for a Friend, this one made my heart happy and had me swooning. It's completely relatable and the chemistry these characters have may even have you blushing.
Sex and Other Shiny Objects, it's a friends to lovers which is a fav of mine. These two both want more but are afraid to put their friendship on the line. But oh the turning point will make you want more, more, more. Smexy is the word for this one!
One Night Stand-in, is a second chance, it was sweet and so cool and different. I think that is why I love Lauren’s books so much. She gives us a fresh spin and story with every book. They never feel like the same story. And her narrators are fantastic; they really bring you into the story. Like you’re seeing it plays behind your eyes.
Overnight Service, Oh yes…I love books like these, where the hero and heroine hate to love each other. It’s fun and interesting to see how they dance around each other and how they come to be. The banter is phenomenal, a must listen.

Asking For a Friend:
Asking For A Friend is the newest book by Lauren Blakely. Linc has just moved to New York from LA after a bad “office romance” break-up. Linc is very handsome, swoony, has a way with words, and as Amy will call him “delish”(very much so). Linc definitely knows his way around the publishing world as well as a woman’s body. When you look up “complete package” in a thesaurus you would find Linc’s picture!! Amy Summer loves editing/publishing books, vanilla lattes, and her family. She enlists the help of her brother, Josh, to help her learn how to better “sell” herself to her bosses in the hopes of getting a new job at her work. She knows how to sell a book but her self-confidence needs a major boost. The chemistry between Linc and Amy is so easy to see even before they actually know they are talking to each other on a dating app they are using. The twist is that Amy is “screening” the contenders for her friend, Peyton, who is considering getting back out into the dating world. I completely love how Ms. Blakely writes a story. Her heroines and heroes are fun, relatable, strong in character, have hearts-of-gold, and a beauty that is so obvious from the inside as well as outside. Totally recommend Asking For A Friend by Lauren Blakely. A fun read that I very easily give 5 stars.
Sex and Other Shiny Objects:
Have you ever wondered if the steamy scenes in your romance novels are plausible? I do and interestingly enough the newest book by Lauren Blakely covers this topic…..hmmm? It’s wildly entertaining. Love Peyton and Tristan. Peyton owns a lingerie shop and loves lacey underthings. Tristan is Peyton’s best guy friend since they met in college. They shared a kiss 10 years ago and a variety of circumstances have kept them apart since. Peyton volunteers to help her best friends, Lola and Amy, complete a “how to” guide for steamy romance scenes and enlists Tristan to be her partner while testing out the scenes. Turns out that Peyton learns a thing or two about Tristan. He has a vulnerable side as well as a dirty-talking side that turns Peyton on quite well. These two have so much pent up chemistry that all their friends and relatives can practically see and feel it. Will Tristan and Peyton ever take that necessary step and tell the other how they truly feel and for how long they have felt that way? Tristan is a definite Blakely Boy-muscles everywhere, good-looking, will sacrifice his happiness for the ones he loves, loves with his whole heart, and is a pretty-darn good dirty-talker. S-E-X and Other Shiny Objects is a friends-to-lovers rom-com that has a few twists that I didn't see coming. As always, Lauren’s characters are relatable, strong characters, beautiful on the outside as well as the inside. For a fun escape to a world of fun, hilarious, adorable, and some pretty HOT scenes between the sheets then you need to read the newest release by Lauren Blakely.
One Night Stand-In:
The newest rom-com from Lauren Blakely, One Night Stand-In, is fast paced. The majority of the story takes place over a 24 hour period. Can you really fall in love that quick? Lucas and Lola were college friends on the verge of more. Through a misunderstanding and being stubborn young adults, their friendship and the potential for more is lost. Ironically, their siblings are currently in a relationship and need their help(Lucas and Lola) to retrieve personal items which have been moved all over New York. To get their rent deposit back their stuff must be recovered within 24 hours. While on this most unusual scavenger hunt Lola and Lucas realize what they did wrong in their past and see a possible future. Apologies are given and the sexual chemistry just oozes out. Lucas is just plain HOT with a heart-of-gold. Lola is a beautiful, strong, and loving woman. Lucas and Lola both would do just about anything for their younger siblings because of their childhoods. There are twists and turns that I didn't see coming which makes the story fun and keeps you guessing. I seriously doubt you will figure it out. Again I ask, can you fall in love in 24 hours? Really enjoyed this story, a great combination of heart and a LOT of heat, both in and out of the bedroom.
Overnight Service:
Rival sports agents with the hots for each other, check. A recipe for combustible chemistry, check. Josh and Haven were colleagues until she was passed over for a promotion and blamed Josh. For a brief time Josh and Haven had a very hot affair before their professional lives got in the way. I love the characters that Lauren Blakely writes. They are real everyday people with character, integrity, compassion, and hearts-of-gold. Will Josh and Haven give their hearts a chance? Will their careers get in the way of happiness? Read Overnight Service by Lauren Blakely to get your answers. Between the sheets time is always and I mean always super steamy. Fans of rom-com and contemporary romance will enjoy this newest story by Lauren Blakely. Always such a good time in the land of hot and swoon-worthy Blakely Boys!! Totally recommend it. 5 stars*****
