"When wounds are healed by love, the scars are beautiful."—David Bowles

Calliope "Callie" Palmer is one year fresh out of a relationship with a heartbreaking end. Since deciding to focus on herself and her bakery, the last thing Callie is looking for again is love. When her best friend recruits her for a photoshoot with her fiancé, Callie has a feeling she's being set up. Her initial apprehension is replaced with immediate attraction when she lays eyes on the handsome Thane St. Thomas.

The thirty-two-year-old headmaster is instantly intrigued with his future sister-in-law's best friend. Single for two years now, Thane is no longer looking for a girlfriend. He's looking for a wife. His initial attraction to Callie is based on their natural chemistry and vibes, but once he pulls back the layers, he discovers she's everything he's been praying for.

Join this couple's journey with a sweet, drama-free love story, sure to leave you swooning and wanting more!

Love, love this story! A simple love story without the drama! Two hearts that found their way to each other! The support of their family and friends only added to the beauty of this story! Can't say enough about the narration...

Love after hurt is always hard. The music we listen to get through those moments are always the music that speaks of those moments. The way Ms. Brown wrapped that together and told a story of how being with your souls mate can be redeeming and joyous. Thank you Ms. Brown! As always Trei and Winston brought this story together in a wonderful way!

First off, I have to say—the dual narration absolutely made this such a fun and engaging listen! The relationship between the male lead and his mother was such a highlight for me. You could really feel the closeness in their family dynamic, and I loved how it showed emotional maturity without leaning into toxic masculinity. The self-awareness, the honesty—this was just a genuinely beautiful love story from start to finish. I’m always here for a romance with no games, just grown adults who know themselves and what they want. I really loved this one.

Beautiful performance and amazing love story with no games
