About this listen

There are a great many men and women who have forever influenced and changed the course of Christian history, but one might ask whether any have made such a profound impact as Saint Paul the Apostle. It is through the ardent work of Paul that we know the path to Salvation, one which leads us and binds us to God through the love of Christ.

When Jesus revealed himself directly to Paul and called Paul into his service, that set Paul apart from other disciples who had come into the faith since the crucifixion. Paul was not merely chosen to be a disciple, he had been appointed by Jesus himself.

UNCLEAR OBJECTIVE

It is not clear what are the author’s data sources and the accuracy/authenticity of his sources. It appears that “rumors” are given the same weight as facts. Also, the author does not provide any guidance as to what is true and what is not true when he sites “other” sources.

I don’t agree with these views

The author implies that Paul likely was not a Roman citizen, because he didn't mention this fact until after a severe beating, and who would wait until they had been beaten to bring it up? I don't like the author's implication that the apostle Paul would have been deceptive in any way, or would have mentioned his Roman citizenship for some reason other than what it was. The Bible is the Word of God and is inerrant. Every word is God-breathed, so if Paul said he was a Roman citizen, then he was. I don't recommend this book. It's a opinion piece at best....
