About this listen

On account of the superficial points of agreement between Islam and Christianity, many don't see how tremendously deep the divides between them really are, and fewer still have considered the evidence for each faith. How is jihad different from the Crusades? Can we know the life of Jesus as well as the life of Muhammad? What reason is there to believe in one faith over the other, and what difference can the Gospel really make?

In No God but One, New York Times best-selling author Nabeel Qureshi takes listeners on a global, historical, yet deeply personal journey to the heart of the world's two largest religions. He explores the claims that each faith makes upon believers' intellects and lives, critically examining the evidence in support of their distinctive beliefs. Fleshed out with stories from the annals of both religions, No God but One unveils the fundamental enduring conflict between Islam and Christianity - directly addressing controversial topics like jihad, the Crusades, Sharia, the Trinity, and more.

Listeners of Qureshi's first book, Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus, will appreciate his careful and respectful comparison of Islam and Christianity. Both religions teach that there is No God but One, but who deserves to be worshiped, Allah or Jesus?

Informative and Moving

I have been researching Islam recently. This book clearly outlines the data and illustrates with stories and examples. It is scientific in its analysis, though also obviously moved by the message of Christianity. For each argument he explains his perspectives and thought process from before he became a Christian, and follows up with the refutations that he met.

I would encourage anyone of any belief or background to pick up this book and attempt to refute its arguments. If you put it down and are not convinced of the Christian message, then so be it - you will know the Christian and current Muslim arguments better.

If you are convinced, however, then Christ had this to say about it:

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭13:45-46‬ ‭

Excellent Read

What a treasure that both this and “Seeking Allah, finding Jesus” were both read by the author. Nabeel describes the first book as the “heart” of his coming to faith. And this one is the “head” — the supporting evidence. It’s a very engaging look at Christianity and Islam.

Great book

Such a great overview on Islam. This book is filled with information and intertwined with personal stories and was very moving. It was easy to listen to and follow and I loved that the author himself read it.

A very objective comparison of two faiths.

This book was very enlightening, and clarified many points of similarity and difference between the Muslim and Christian faiths, and to a lesser extent, Judaism.

ONLY THROUGH HIS SON

Can you imagine the fear that would go through a young mans head wanting to convert from Islam to Christianity and we all know they are real bonafide fears. This book he shares his journey and points out the differences although he plays with words at times, but the cause of this is that fear still guides many facets of his life which is understandable. I give him credit for making the move and thank him for pointing out to Muslims the difference between two very different religions.

Amazing work brother!

I am very pleased to have found this book. For years I have questioned, why is Islam listed as one of the main religions in the world, and now I have a clear/wide understanding. I am infinitely grateful to Brother Nabeel for his dedication in this book! Now, just the commission remains, which is to reach people from all nations. There are no excuses, God is only one, and his name is Jesus.
