About this listen

Trying to get over a broken heart, twenty-four-year-old teacher Jet Diekerhof takes a gap year to travel and have an adventure. Her practical farming family is horrified until Jet's older sister Harley gets her a long-term sub position at a one-room schoolhouse in Montana’s Paradise Valley. Jet's grateful it’s 775 miles from her overly involved family—and the guy who broke her heart. She’s also sworn off men, until meeting darkly handsome Shane Swan changes everything...

Thirty-four-year-old Shane Swan has been an outsider since birth. Being raised by his maternal grandmother near Flathead Lake, Montana, until her death when he was four meant he ended up in foster care. But ever smart, determined, and ambitious, Shane has become one of the most successful writers in America. Yet none of his success has answered the burning question: Why was he the one given away, and his brothers kept? Now Shane has moved to Marietta to unravel the secrets and lies and what it means to be a Sheenan, and nobody is closer to the Sheenans than Brock’s young sister-in-law, Jet.

Normally Shane would never use a woman, but if Jet can connect him with the keys to his past, he doesn't seem to have choice. Until he begins to fall for her. Can two strangers who were never meant to be believe in love again?

I hate to see the last of the Sheenan Brothers. This last book was the crowning glory of the series . Read them all and relish them every last one.

A mysteriously intriguing, charming and captivating journey to go on with Shane and Jet. This probably my favorite out of this entire series. I was on the edge on my seat waiting to see what would happen, this is a great story.

This series was so good. Each book gave you a better understanding of the Sheenan family and each book, allowed a much needed healing to each brother; right down to the last book which to me was the best, because there was a little bit more mystery with this one. The only down fall for me was the voice for Cormac’s four year old daughter Daisy. She hardly ever sounded like a four year old, or even a little girl at all. Then sometimes the descriptions of the Sheenan men, from the women who loved them, went on to long. “Just open the door already!” Other than that I love this series.

Best Series that I read in a long time

This is the revealing conclusion to the Sheenan series and it’s the most well developed story because it’s longer and explains so many things that were teased throughout the previous books. I really liked Shane and Jet’s characters because they have so much in common and the emotional depth of the story was very appealing to me. I listened to the audiobook version and I have enjoyed the narration performance of Loretta Rawlins very much.

Revealing!
