Publisher's summary

Can reality television help them find love, or will ratings and drama pull them apart forever?

“Troubled” doesn’t even begin to cover Scott’s childhood, but he’s doing okay for himself. He has a place with his best friend and a career he enjoys. It’s not exactly a high-paying career, and he has to work two jobs just to make ends meet, but he can keep himself safe and that’s the important thing. The last thing he wants it to get married, never mind married to a stranger for a television show.

When his best friend decides to audition for the hit reality show Make It Work, Scott agrees to go along for moral support. No one is more shocked than he is when he’s selected as that season’s omega groom.

Danny Magee’s life has gone according to plan so far. He went to college at 14. He graduated at 16, took his company public at 20. He made his first billion at 25. Now he’s a member of the elite Hellion Club. The only thing he hasn’t achieved is starting a family. Since he hasn’t had much luck meeting people with his busy schedule, he takes a friend’s advice and signs on to Make It Work.

Neither Scott nor Danny are impressed with the other at first. As they’re forced to live with one another, their bad first impression starts to ease into friendship and then something more. Scott arouses Danny’s protective instincts, and Danny gives Scott the support he needs to move forward.

But healthy relationships and healing don’t bring in ratings. Other forces are at work to increase the tension on the happy couple. Can their love for one another overcome the need for higher ratings, or will malice win the day?

A really great story :)

What I really, really liked in this story is that it present us with very serious issues of childhood abuse and it doesn't magically heal them.

The relationship between Scott and Danny advance slowly and organically, and it was so great to see them talk through their issues! Even when the troubles arise, is easy to understand their positions; Scott's self-doubts and Danny's fears are logical, and their reactions easy to understand. Yes, they are frustrating at times, but it's never because you can't understand their motivations. I maybe would like that the villains weren't as utterly villainous, but, oh, well! you love to hate them, so I think it's alright :P

Mark Ruben does a great job with the narration :)

A great book!

I loved the concept of the reality game show. Aiden Bates did an amazing job writing it!
While Mark Ruben’s narration wasn’t bad, his voice didn’t do it for me. He gave life to this audiobook and gave each character a different voice. I just don’t love his voice in general. But it’s definitely worth a listen!

Sadly sweet

Oh this one nearly broke my heart through the whole thing, such lack of communication. It was a sadly sweet story with a HEA. Narration is ok overall a nice addition to the series.

great love story...

Danny is an Alpha CEO of his own billion dollar company who wants a family. He signs up for a reality show where he will be matched up with an Omega and must stay married for one year... oh and have it all televised. What could go wrong, right?!

Scott is an Omega who auditioned, as support of his friend, for a reality show. When he gets picked to be the Omega to marry the Alpha, he is dismayed. As an trauma/ Sexual abuse survivor, he is unsure he can do this. But breach of contract is not something he can afford.

Scott and Danny start out rough but over the days and weeks and months that follow, the two build a relationship that is filled with real connection and real love. Unfortunately schemes of a harsh host, busy schedules, a surprise from a past lover, trauma and insecurities from the past and some other obsticles try to destroy these two men. Will their love survive. Definitely read and find out in this newest addition to the Hellion Club series.

This book was filled with well written plot, loveable and relatable characters and a few cameos of past characters we got to know in previous books. Definitely recommend this book.

Narration is done by Mark Ruben. Fantastic job bringing story to life and making characters pop.

💖💖💖💯💯💯

This is another winner. I love the way you dealt so respectfully with such a horrendously, real issue. I love the development of the characters and of course I'm a sucker for a HEA. Great job!!!!

What a wild party

Wow... What did I just listen too!!! This was a wild book!!! Talk about crazy people, you have two guys, Scott and Danny, signing up for a reality TV show; each for a different reason! All the while they both are dealing with some form of child abuse and or sexual abuse, with crazy parents past and present, Then there is the up's and downs of life, angst, add in the lack of communication between these two and the continuing meddling of the TV producer and you have a crazy made for real TV movie! I completely enjoyed this audible book and the narration by Mr. Ruben added a certain enjoyment to the over all listen pleasure. If you are a fan of Mr. Bates books, please do not miss this book, you will not be disappointed! An avid listener/reader in Rock Tavern, NY.

Make It Work!

Where do you go for help when you've met all of your life goals except for marriage? Why, to the reality TV show Make It Work!

Alpha Danny is willing to accept the omega chosen for him. Several omegas vie for his attention. How is it he is paired with the one omega who is forced to be there by contract? Great TV, right?

Omega Scott is appalled when he is chosen to be the alpha's husband. Married to a stranger for an entire year?

Smarmy host Amos is delighted by the immediate tension between Danny and Scott. Ratings will climb with added drama between the two. What will keep the fans glued to the show? Forgotten exes? What about a Valentine's date gone wrong? Restraining order? Surely that doesn't apply during a show taping!

Narrator Mark Rueben moves through the story expertly. He is easy to follow, and makes it easy to connect with the characters.

Realty Tv Spouses.

This was a very good spin on realty tv matings. The performance was great and flowed well with the storyline of a single billionaire and a reluctant omega pair. The protagonist was very mean and disrespectful. Way to go.
