About this listen

Standing on the sidelines of her sister’s third baby shower with her thirtieth birthday around the corner, Indigo is feeling the pressure about one thing she hasn’t yet mastered: a healthy long-term relationship. As owner of Houston’s hottest destination for luxury shoes and accessories, she excels at finding clients the perfect shoe, but she's having a hard time finding a partner who is her perfect fit.

So she approaches her lackluster dating life the same way she does any challenge—with determination—and books her social calendar full of potential suitors. She needs a man who can handle her busy life, get along with her big and boisterous family, and mesh with her tight-knit friends, including Nate, her childhood bestie.

While one guy is great on paper and another sets off sparks, neither are Mr. Right. And her drive to find him begins to interfere with the things and people she values most. Can Indigo let go of past hurts and unrealistic expectations and finally admit to herself that her perfect man has been in front of her the whole time?

This is a very easy read "listen." The narrator's voice is so soothing. Perfect for nighttime listening. The story is somewhat predictable, but still fun. Likeable characters. Would recommend. Hope to hear more from this narrator.

Calming voice, cute story

I love the story but it would have been better if they could have had a real man’s voice to do the male characters.

I enjoyed reading this book. It took me a while to finish it though because the beginning wasn't too interesting at first. I had started with the actual hard copy but couldn't stay focus. So I tried audio. Only thing I didn't really like was the voice of the males. Other than that, it was a good book.

Predictable Romance

I usually love romance novels but it was so hard getting past the narrator. Her “male” voices were just so cringe and dramatic she was not selling the character at all. The overall story line was quite predictable and the characters didn’t seem to really have any depth unfortunately.

Cringe Narrator!!!

Was looking for an easy romance book but i hated the many character. Indigo was very self absorbed. It wasn’t a fun book.

Not the best

This woman was very selfish, I didn't like her viewpoint on dating. I wished I never wasted my money.

Didn't enjoyed this one at all. very 😞 very sad
