dragged on

this book is 11 hours. about 4 hours in I already knew who the killer was. either there needed to be more suspense or this book only needed to be about 6 hours instead of 11. the author struggled to make Ivy more mature being 12 years old in a 30 year old body. Book was ok. thankfully it was free.

Weak, WEAK “Heroine”!

I bought all of the books in this “time travel” series…I HOPE they are not long and drawn out to where I keep checking - how long until This Dud is over?!?!

Here I go…on to the next dreaded book in the series.

Good story - Annoying narration

It's good story about getting do-overs in your life. The narration is irritating. There may be a place for Virtual Voice in the future but it's not ready yet.

Don’t love the AI narration

AI wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be but not good. Story should have been interesting but dragged on. MC stupidity was eye rolling & details that should have flown quickly were over emphasized (crunchy forrest) Finally got through it by playing at 2x speed and skipping chapters.

I'm sure your AI narrator is a lovely... voice, but

The characters are all pretty shallow. I realize she's a 30 year old in the body of a 12 year old, but you'd not guess it by her behavior.

The only good thing I can say is that I finished it, only to see who the bad guy was.

Now for the AI. I can safely say I will not listen to another book read by an AI. It was awful and pretty much ruined the story. It placed emphasis on the wrong words, which is very distracting. I found myself wincing everytime a teenager said "ugh fine" with zero inflection.

The premise has potential, tho.

virtual voice narration is the worst!

story line was weak, drug on too long, main character seemed stupid and unrealistic.

Worst time traveler ever

This is one of the worst books I ever listened to. Even the sub-par AI voice narration is better than the story itself, but not enough to make it better. Maybe an actual narrator would've helped make the listen more enjoyable... but it's tough.

As far as the story goes, apart from your run of the mill time travel "mystery," we actually get the worst time traveler in history. This lady is clueless, acts in a very unbelievable/stupid way, is unrelatable and not even the least enjoyable.

The story itself is not just unimaginative, but so poorly written that it is enraging at times. It's that bad!

I actually listen to AI-narrated books to fall asleep (because the AI voice has no sudden changes in tonality that would make me up) but on several occasions I got so angry at the silly story that I had to switch to another book.

All in all, do yourself a favor and skip this one. You can pick literally anything and I'm sure it will be better.

PS: Yes, you will also solve the "mystery" a few chapters in.
