Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Story
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

A time-travel adventure that just might make you a believer. The Time Machine by H. G. Wells was fun, as was the enjoyable A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle and Jack Finney's delightful Time and Again. If you enjoyed these books, you’ll definitely want to read Mission in Time. However, after reading Mission in Time, this might be the first time you actually find yourself believing in time travel. Imagine being sent on a time-travel mission expecting to arrive in a certain period of time and finding yourself in a very different era—a major period in the history of the United States....

I'm sure your AI narrator is a lovely... voice, but
The characters are all pretty shallow. I realize she's a 30 year old in the body of a 12 year old, but you'd not guess it by her behavior.
The only good thing I can say is that I finished it, only to see who the bad guy was.
Now for the AI. I can safely say I will not listen to another book read by an AI. It was awful and pretty much ruined the story. It placed emphasis on the wrong words, which is very distracting. I found myself wincing everytime a teenager said "ugh fine" with zero inflection.
The premise has potential, tho.

Weak, WEAK “Heroine”!
I bought all of the books in this “time travel” series…I HOPE they are not long and drawn out to where I keep checking - how long until This Dud is over?!?!
Here I go…on to the next dreaded book in the series.

Don’t love the AI narration
AI wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be but not good. Story should have been interesting but dragged on. MC stupidity was eye rolling & details that should have flown quickly were over emphasized (crunchy forrest) Finally got through it by playing at 2x speed and skipping chapters.
