Too confusing as an audiobook

The book may have been hard to turn into a play in the first place, but this particular cast is a motley crew of accents, and casts a female actor in a male role, which makes the audio-only version of the play of the book incredibly difficult to follow.

As great as it ought to be

What made the experience of listening to The Master and Margarita (Dramatized) the most enjoyable?

For the same reason I've read the book so many times - because it's a fabulous story, delivered here with such enthusiasm and gusto that the characters come to life the moment they open their mouths.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

You don't have a choice - it draws you in immediately!
