Publisher's summary

Welcome to Paradise, a sleepy backwater town in the mountains of Southeastern Arizona where police chief Luke Hollis is perfectly content to concentrate on nothing but issuing the occasional speeding ticket. Well, that and working up the nerve to approach his dispatcher, Ruby Brooks, for a date.

When an unexplained healing occurs during a service at the Mount Moriah Pentecostal Church of God, Hollis finds his simple belief system challenged and his life changed forever. Throw in a struggling minister, a world-class grifter, and a stranger with an unbelievable story of love and redemption, and the stage is set for The Miracle Man. By the time it's all over, everyone involved will come face to face with a power that's greater and more wonderful than any of them could have ever imagined.

This could have been such a Great Story

The reader did a fantastic job. If not for his performance I would have stopped halfway thru. You could tell the author started running out of steam right after the Sgt arrived in town and told the Chief history. Ok here is my Questions? Why was the fiddle not mentioned more and why was is so important that it was brought thru combat, Travel thru the world by the Sgt only to be never heard of again. Guess it was thrown away haha. Why the Sgt was saved from Death by a Angel or Jesus only to walk around and Not perform any miracles even worse, the Gift was the Chiefs all along even though be had to talk with the Worst charactor of tbe book. Blind Black wiseman that kept giving chief advice of Hold the Rope. OMG if I heard that silly advice one more time from that worthless charactor I was gonna smash my SamsungS8+. Oh calling the chief his first an last name EVERY F###KING TIME. But I will recommend this book. The Bishop and the Chief story line Outstanding even the Sgt that was raised from the Dead. The lil Boy being priest at end was TERRIFIC. I loved the way author even let you know that Bishop was a Evil force with powers over people ( Maybe even the Devil) Very great writing. This book would be a good book for a Bookclub to read. The author leaves just enough in details to make this a great book for discussion. I will read more of his books. Loved the way story formed. Keeping reader knowing as he said, A Storm is coming.

Music between chapters is a horrible idea.

Liked the story and the narrator, however I can't believe someone made the decision to put music snippets between every chapter would be a good idea. This is not a radio play, but a novel. Inserting any music between chapters breaks up the atmosphere of the story. It is a distraction of the story and does not enhance the story, but hurts it. I would not recommend this audio version. I suggest you purchase the book.
