About this listen

Not all monsters can be seen.

When Dean McAllen wins a writing fellowship that offers him the chance to escape his abusive home life, he boards the first plane out of Utah and prepares for a life free of dysfunction.

Not long after arriving in the small town halfway across the country, he meets Brad Michelson. Kind, sweet, and caring, the fellow artist is everything Dean could ever want in a man. He's also Dean's first true shot at love.

But what Dean doesn’t know is that Brad harbors a darkness inside of him - and though Brad has struggled to hold it back his entire life, Dean will soon find that the monsters that dwell within Brad's conscience are real, and out to destroy them both.

Not bad

This novel had a fascinating premise, but needed editing in both the writing and the narration.
I purchased it based on a review that noted the author was male and the reviewer said his depiction of the two gay male characters was more true to reality than female writers. I wanted to know the difference. What I got was a novel with potential that got published before good editing upped the quality of the writing.

Good book:-)

It had some grammar issues, but overall a great book:-) I’m gonna hazard a guess and assume the author is an actual male and not a female posing as a male author, which is one of the reasons the book was enjoyable! I don’t care what anyone says, you can always tell because women don’t write men correctly in gay romance story’s they ALWAYS write gay romance novels as straight romance and just change the female main character from her to him, no joke, as a gay male I can ALWAYS tell, they never write the guys correctly....SOOOO BOTTOM line GREAT JOB KODY!!:-)
