She first met him in a dream. And now, weeks before she marries someone else, he's appeared in real life.
I’ve spent my entire life hiding what I can do. The things I know. Until the day Nick Reilly walks into my hospital room.
Nick—the man I've been dreaming about for as long as I can remember. I know everything about him, as if we spent an entire lifetime together, and I know I loved him in a way I’ve never loved anyone else...including my fiancé.
Even stranger? Nick’s been dreaming about me too.
Working with him to unravel the puzzle might save me, but the attraction between us could destroy us both.
Just like it did before.

We end this one in a massive hoof with no real questions answered.
Fmc has a lot of baggage that is t really clear at this stage what we exactly caused it. There’s bits and pieces we are told about but no real depth which I’m 100% expecting in book two.
I liked out mmc he’s quite perfect.
I’m at a loss as to who the “bad guy” is but I believe the fmc is targeted because of her child.
I’m excited for book two!
Narration was fabulous both female and male
This is done in duel narration.

Having listened to both Samantha Brentmoor and Jason Clarke before i was so excited when i found out they'd be narrating Parallel! Their narration had my undivided attention immediately. I loved the way both Samantha and Jason pulled my heart and i right back into this story. These two and this story had me not wanting to take out my earbuds. From the love, heartache, to the chemistry and suspense, Samantha and Jason captured this first installment in Quinn and Nick's journey so wonderfully!
This first installment in Quinn and Nick's journey hooked my heart and i once again! What happens when you come face to face with the person that you've only ever dreamed of?
I really like how you don't know what all to expect in Quinn and Nick's story. I loved that once again, i went through such a range of emotions with these two throughout listening. I could picture it all so clearly in my mind. I was glued to Quinn and Nick's story and my earbuds. From the uniqueness of their journey to the undeniable connection and chemistry, i thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook!
With Parallel, Ms.O'Roark has created such a great and one of a kind story that had my heart and i feeling every bit! From the writing to the narration, this is one listen that will stick with you. I can't wait to have the continuation to this duet, Intersect in my life! 💗

The premise/plot is a solid 5. However, the books are drawn out by constant droning of pubescent-like longing for sex. The constant repetition, in teenage-like manner, of what it would feel like to get off, was annoying. We get it! The author might have been deprived, turning the 1st book, and a lot of the second, into 5 seasons of Sex and the City. Can we move the storyline along? I ended up listening to the books at 1.7 speed about half way through the first book and forwarded the annoying repetitious parts.
The book is dialogue-heavy.
The female narrator reads a lot of sentence endings as a question, even when not needed.
If the too books were merged into one, the storyline would have moved along really well.
It could have been a 5 star if...
