About this listen

When Fantasy Invades Reality

Yoshio was a thirty-year-old unemployed shut-in when a mysterious village-building sim, The Village of Fate, showed up at his door. Through watching and caring for the game's intensely realistic NPCs, Yoshio has started getting his life back on track--getting a job to pay for microtransactions, and using the villagers' care for each other as inspiration to reconnect with his family. But despite overcoming the first challenges thrown at him, more complicated issues, both in and out of the game, are closing in. And are the game's monstrous enemies controlled by real humans, too?

The story is much better. The way it makes you stay to listen is great. However, the main MC was getting annoying. Yes I know he has that problem all those shut-ins have. But DEAR LORD IT GETS ANNOYING. Still a good book though.

Not bad

This was a decent sequel for this unique story but holy hell that ending was a bit crap. I'm equal parts annoyed at the author and curious what the heck he is going to do with the third book.

That Ending, Though

I’m absolutely hooked on this series! The way the author masterfully builds tension at the end of each chapter is just brilliant. However, the author left us with such a cliffhanger! It has me on the edge of my seat, craving to know more.

How can you leave me hanging like this?
