About this listen
Then Jesus demanded the demon give its name. And it responded, “I am Legion, for we are many.” – Mark 5:9
As a wave of grisly, ritualistic killings sweeps across Los Angeles, the police have only one lead – a mysterious girl caught at one of the crime scenes. But something’s wrong with her beyond the feral rage in her eyes. It’s something deep inside her. Taken to prison, the guards and police learn she hides terrifying secrets even the prison walls can’t contain. Powers to move objects and compel people. To invade thoughts and dreams with grotesque horrors. And to raise the dead.
And she’s picking them off, one by one.
From the best-selling author of ‘Hell: The Possession and Exorcism of Cassie Stevens,’ comes a terrifying new tale of supernatural horror. Sometimes evil has a child’s face.
What readers are saying:
“This was a book that invoked horror at its most basic iteration. The story got under my skin, and I couldn’t stop thinking about.”
“This is possibly the best thriller I’ve ever read. Gave me goosebumps throughout.”
“I could not put it down! Read it in two days! If you want a fantastic read! Read this.”
“Chilling! So good it’s hard to put it down.”
“Haven’t read a scary book in a while and I couldn’t have picked a better one to read!!!! Grabs your imagination immediately and doesn’t let it go.”
“As others have said, this is a very fast paced book which jumps right in and doesn’t stop! It truly embodies the “horror” genre, including murder-mystery, psychic abilities, the supernatural, gore and mutilation, the occult, the undead…”
“It’s one of the best books I have read in a long time.”

Story
The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

Anyone familiar with H. P. Lovecraft's work knows of the Necronomicon, the black-magic grimoire he invented as a literary prop in his classic horror stories. There have been several attempts at creating this text, yet none stand up to Lovecraft's own descriptions of the Necronomicon...until now. Fans of Lovecraftian magic and occult fiction will delight in Donald Tyson's Necronomicon, based purely within Lovecraft's own fictional universe, the Cthulhu Mythos.

good story, dull reading.
The AI voice was so bad that it was ar tones hard to concentrate on what was being said because of how it was been said. very little inflection, and mispronouncing nuanced words. Stick with human readers.

Good Story
I was surprised how much I liked this story. I've been listening to the free stuff with the Virtual voice for a month now and it's been so-so so when I started this one I did not have great expectations. I was happily surprised. some of the story was predictable but all in all I liked the story.

detailed excellent story
Digital narration was difficult. Otherwise I liked it. Fun and easy story to follow

Excellent horror
Definitely extreme horror not for the feint. The author is very talented I would say, I was really pulling for the good guys here. I believe this book and his book ‘Hell’ is related but I read that one earlier this year. It may be a sequel to this. I will certainly follow this Author to see what else he brings.

Excellent Book!
What a fantastic book and in the Plus Library too! Took a chance on this and couldn’t be more pleased. The only con is that the Virtual Voice is very good but not yet perfect. By that I mean in some cases where a human narrator would use certain amounts of emotion in the reading, the virtual voice doesn’t do it well. But, it’s not frequent enough to discourage me from listening again.

Narration sucks
While the narration is better than I thought it would be it’s not good. It’s narrated with AI and it shows, feels like being read to by a robot with a human voice. Please support human narrators by giving narration 1 star, don’t let the bots take yet more jobs. Story is ok but not good enough to make up for flat narration. I didn’t realize it was read by a bot, if I had I wouldn’t have bought it.

Good story. HORRIBLE NARRATION!!!
Virtual voice? Really? Just read the book. There was ZERO inflection. Same monotone voice thru out the entire story. Absolutely no change in tone for any part of story. Virtual voice? Come on!!!!
