About this listen

Devney Maxwell has been my best friend since we were six years old, but she has no idea I’m in love with her.

Even when I’m on the road playing professional baseball, she’s my home—the only one I’ve ever known. But when I return to Sugarloaf to care for the family farm, I discover she’s trying to talk herself into a life with the wrong man … and I become desperate.

It only takes a single, perfect kiss to change everything.

I have six months to get it right with Devney—to convince her to leave this small town and turn that kiss into forever.

I aim to do just that as I spend my days coaching her nephew’s baseball team, fixing up the farm, and loving her with all I have. Finally, it seems like our relationship is secure and we’ll find a way to make it work.

Then tragedy strikes ... changing her life forever. She’s needed here more than ever, but as for me—there’s no way I can stay.

I know she’s the one for me, but I might have to let her go ...

Such a great story

Such a great story. Captivating characters.
More humor to this story vs the first 2 books.

Corinne traded up!

This narration is SO MUCH BETTER than the first version! I’m always a sucker for Zachary Webber, but he really made Sean come to life. He’s so talented and can really make or break a character. His voices are on point. The One for Me is my favorite story of the Arrowood Brothers, but the previous male narrator made listening to the book less enjoyable. Corinne definitely made the right decision switching her male narrator for Zach!

I really really loved the story actually I love the entire arrowwood series so far all four books were excellent now on the fifth one Jacob’s story

The One for Me

the plot of the book is such that you can read it as a standalone novel but I Love this author so I read the series. the characters have depth and there is a twist to the story. Tere is deep history between Sean and Devny which makes the ending perfect!

Zachary Webber never disappoints

The One for Me is book 3 in this series and can be read as a standalone, but I definitely recommend the whole series because they’re heavily connected!

It’s important to start off with saying that Sean is probably my favorite brother so far and deserves everything. Fictional or not, he is literally perfection. 😅

This book wasn’t my favorite but I still really liked it. I love the twist that Corinne threw at us, but I felt she also put in a lot of unnecessary tension. It was a little frustrating and had me not loving the FMC as much as I did in the beginning. However, I can’t wait to listen to book 4.

So far I’m ranking this series as:

1. Come Back for Me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
2. The One for Me ⭐️⭐️⭐️.75
3. Fight for Me ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Andi and Zachary are always amazing and I could listen to them both repeatedly. I thought Zachary was the perfect Sean!

Zachary was the right one

Having Zachary Webber narrate as Shawn was the correct choice for this do-over. He is such a powerful and perfect narrator as EVERY character in a story.

Loved Sean❤️❤️❤️

I enjoyed this book. I loved Sean but Divney was stupid. Sean deserved someone who wanted to be with him. He showed her how much he was willing to do anything for her and she is giving the dumbest excuses of not being with him. He should of dropped her butt off home and find someone who loved him.

This series didn’t need to be 4 books

Series is too predictable. After the third brother it just seems to be the same story told over and over all centered around the same history with minor changes.

Couldn't wait to be done

I'm sorry but this book just did not do it for me. Between Dev's constant whining and all the foreshadowing, this book was super predictable. Also, baseball is a spring/summer sport. Not too many baseball tournaments in December in cold climates. This just didn't work for me.
The performances were amazing as Zachary Webber and Andi Arndt always are. But I couldn't wait to finish this just to be over it. I tried to just quit it a couple times but then got mad that I had wasted the money and powered through!
