This book was unusual as one of the protagonists was an angel; however, while listening to the audiobook I couldn't decide if the author was intending for this book to be a family story or a fantasy adventure. There were some good descriptions of fight scenes, but I felt the interaction between the protagonists was less than the interaction between other characters in the story. I realize that this book was written for younger readers and that might be why the story was lacking direction for me. It could also be because this was book 10 in the series and I haven't read any of the other books. Kelly Water's narration was fine. Her voice was pleasant; however, the pauses at the end of the sentences were often overlong and I felt like I was being read to as if I was a child. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily left this review.

The order of the Golden Feather by Marion Jones narrated by Kelly Waters did a good job on the story, but Kelly might not have been the best choice for the story. Is this story supposed to be an Adventure fantasy or a family story it a little confusing. It’s not that I don’t like it but I can’t tell what’s wrong. Some parts are well defined in other parts not so defined. And I’m sorry to say but this is my first book I listening to in the series. I did get the book for free for a honest review.
