We've all had experiences with two dramatically different types of leaders. The first type drain intelligence, energy, and capability from the people around them and always need to be the smartest people in the room. These are the idea killers, the energy sappers, the diminishers of talent and commitment. On the other side of the spectrum are leaders who use their intelligence to amplify the smarts and capabilities of the people around them.

Very sound logic
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would recommend this book to those who faces the challenge of managing and/or growing a business, teams, or focus groups. The Oz Principal, in application, is a simple, but very powerful tool.
Any additional comments?
The Oz Principle presents some very sound logic that can be applied to work and everyday life. While I found that there was no giant revelation, there certainly was an "ah-ha" moment when you dust the cobwebs off a principle that we all probably know, and start thinking about the power of it's practical application.

Couldn't finish it
After listening to nearly half of this audio book, I finally had to stop. Like so many of these types of books, the author takes a simple basic truth about life and explains it over and over with far too much elaboration and repetition. This book talks about the importance of making things happen by being proactive, but it shouldn't take an entire book to explain this!

Could be said in one chapter
Although the lessons are useful and clearly good guidance for work and life outside of work, the book quickly turns into the same lesson, with the same sentence with the same analogy.
