Thanks to Renie for sharing her story! It was a very open, honest account of adoption from an adoptee's experience. Very helpful for those of us, who haven't had that experience, to better understand our friends and family who have.

A very touching, true story.

I listened to this in one setting! I went through so many emotions while listening to it, and really felt like I identified with the author! I am not adopted, I have no capacity to understand the range of emotions she went through, but still felt the ups and downs along the way. I can imagine this book will help others struggling to come to terms with their adoptive experience. Thanks for opening your heart and sharing your words.

Short. Sweet. Moving. Thought-provoking.
This was worth the listen and purchase.
You can tell there is more to the story, but the meaningful parts are shared with a vulnerability that touched me.

Unique

As someone who was adopted as baby, I found much of this story relatable.
There is so much about being adopted that people don't like to talk about or acknowledge.
I love how this author brings those to light in a gentle, but honest way.
Her story is meaningful and emotional, but I loved how she was gracious in not telling it all.
While parts of me wants more details, the other appreciated her restraint.
This was a quick listen, but not necessarily easy.
There were tears in my eyes as I listened to parts of this.
This is a unique book and worth the purchase!
