hot messes

I found it sad thst Eric had to learn about his dad after his death and I wished George could have met him more than halfway to have a relationship while he was still alive instead of his rigid dictates. Eric's MIL was an interfering drama llama whom I couldn't like and her husband was an evil snake. I had a like/hate relationship with Susie throughout the story, but mostly I disliked her. She was selfish and constantly made Eric feel like less!!! She was a stickler about lies, but was one of the biggest liars in the bunch. I liked that Lulu got to come to the home she was meant for, because the ogre wasn't an issue anymore. Book 3 has so many lies coming out, and the last one about Lydia was a bombshell!! Eric made many mistakes, but he seems to be the best of the bunch, and he had my empathy for all his trials. Abby seems to be recalcitrant and needed more discipline, because she's turning into a liar like her mom and strong willed too. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing the characters and story to life.
