About this listen

They survived a journey across the wasteland to bring hope back to their friends and loved ones. But when Eric, Elaine, and Neil reach the seaside town of Bandon, one of the last bastions of civilization to have survived the apocalyptic worldwide blight, they find it empty. Abandoned. Everyone they know and care for has left.

Or been taken.

Only the smallest clues as to their whereabouts are left behind. But it is enough to send the trio heading north, sailing from town to town along the Alaskan coast, finding allies and confronting enemies along the way. Until finally they find themselves forced to enter a crumbling subterranean colony to rescue those they'd come for.

But once they enter The Pit, the lives they've known and the people they've trusted will change - forever.

This series has gone far enough. I almost didn't get through this one and mr westfield's delivery is mundane.

Love this series of books. I wish they would make a movie about this series.

I liked this one the best. I'm not a fan of the narrator. He draws out the last word of every sentence.

Best book of the series.

I loved this book and this series but I really do not understand the ending. The story is cryptic and leaves a lot to be desired for the ending. Maybe it's just me, but I don't get it.

Great Book

Trying stay alive in a blighted world is hard enough. Throw in enemies and an environment that challenges your survival skills and you have a gripping tale. Noah Mann has created a tale of adventure in his "Bugging Out" series. Very entertaining, one point off for a monotone narration.

Continued excitement in a ravaged world

really thoughtful and descript. surprises around every corner. bummed to not have more..
anyone tiring of zombie apocalypse stories should graduate to end of the world fiction like this.

Big improvements since the first book. Awesome ending. Didn't see that coming. Well done.
Idk if the series should stop here or go on. It might get worse.

Good improvement

This is a good series, a good story and a good performance. Without all the silly political commentary or brand-name products callouts like some of this genre do.

Good story. Good performance.

incoherent, schizophrenic, irrational, 7th grade vocabulary, thinly veiled attempt to sell goods & items to an impressionable readershp
