About this listen

You’ve heard this story before. Woman feels her biological clock ticking and gets someone to knock her up.

Not for love, for baby.

Crazy, right?

That’s what I thought.

Then I found out my fiancé had a vasectomy. The life I thought I had? Nope. Suddenly I’m 33, and I don’t even have a kissing buddy.

When my mom’s health takes a turn and I wind up back in my hometown of Fate, Alabama, I tell myself to leave things up to…well, you know.

Then I see Gabriel McKellan. He’s Fate’s most famous son, a best-selling author who is beautiful, complicated, and living just below me. In addition to his plus-sized brain, Gabe’s well-endowed in other ways, and great in bed to boot. I would know. He's my ex husband.

When I suggest The Plan, I don't imagine that he'll take the bait. It's been 10 years, and we don't work. But Fate has other plans for both of us.

Good book but the ending was kinda abrupt. Like Bam! The end. Wasn’t a fan of Aubrey’s southern accent.

Good

Every single book of Ella James I have absolutely loved... this book is no exception. If there was one thing I would change was the narrator who did the female lead character... she just didn’t fit right.

Just loved it

This was a sweet love story, but it was slow at first and seemed rushed at the end. The humor was hilarious and fun n to listen to.

Not my favorite Ella James but a good listen.

Good ending to the series. Second chance romance between two people that once were married.

characters were wishy washy. cute idea, but did not like the characters. the Male narrator was good but not with his female voices. the female narrator was okay, but not right.

least favorite of series

Slow beginning, it almost lost me. The female narrator was just awful. I am glad that I completed the book, but some things could have been left untold.

Just ok

The male protagonist was too self centered and treated the female protagonist like crap, and she let him continue to do this over and over.

I didn’t feel the chemistry between these two. They had lots of sex but the whole thing felt “meh” to me.

By the end, and after things have supposedly been hashed out, our male lead does something that killed it completely for me. And this happens almost at the end of the book, and to me it was unforgivable the way he did it when a short note or a text message could have been the perfect solution. But our hero is just an inconsiderate prick, and the heroine his personal doormat.

The narrators did a good job, though.

I didn’t like this story and wouldn’t recommend it.

MEH! DISLIKED BOTH MAIN CHARACTERS!

This was my least favorite books by Ella James. I’m all for a second chance romance, but this one irked me. The descriptions both characters would use were awful or cringe worthy. Plus they both acted a lot younger than what they are. I’m sorry I hate being ugly about a book because I know all the hard work that goes into it. This was just not for me.
