From the Black Death to smallpox and the Hong Kong flu, seven of the 10 worst plagues in history originated in China. But the COVID-19 pandemic was something entirely new: a genetically engineered pathogen that was deliberately released upon the world for the geopolitical profit of a Communist government. In The Politically Incorrect Guide® to Pandemics, Steven Mosher, a leading authority on China, devastates politically correct narratives about the COVID-19 pandemic and the deadliest plagues in history.

But socialism doesn’t always resemble the Berlin Wall or the Iron Curtain, as National Review editor Kevin Williamson proves in his new book, The Politically Incorrect Guide to Socialism.

Story
More than 30 years after his landmark book Evolution: A Theory in Crisis (1985), biologist Michael Denton revisits his thesis about the inability of Darwinian evolution to explain the history of life. From the origin of life to the origin of human language, the great divisions in the natural order are still as profound as ever, and still unsupported by the series of adaptive transitional forms predicted by Darwin. Denton makes a provocative new argument about the pervasiveness of nonadaptive order throughout biology, order that cannot be explained by the Darwinian mechanism.

Most Americans consider Abraham Lincoln to be the greatest president in history. His legend as the Great Emancipator has grown to mythic proportions as hundreds of books, a national holiday, and a monument in Washington, D.C., extol his heroism and martyrdom. But what if most everything you knew about Lincoln were false? What if, instead of an American hero who sought to free the slaves, Lincoln were in fact a calculating politician who waged the bloodiest war in American history in order to build an empire that rivaled Great Britain's?

Story
Critical race theory is one of the hottest and most controversial topics in the world today, but what is it, really? Rightly understood, critical race theory is a reinvention of an older, terrible idea, Marxism, using race "as the central construct for understanding inequality" in place of economic class. That is, critical race theory is race Marxism. The evidence of this claim is so overwhelming upon even casual examination that it is a shock that it isn't immediately plain to everyone who encounters it.

The Greatest Show on Earth is a stunning counterattack on advocates of "Intelligent Design," explaining the evidence for evolution while exposing the absurdities of the creationist "argument". Academics, journalists, and popular historians agree: our greatest presidents are the ones who confronted a national crisis and mobilized the entire nation to face it. That’s the conventional wisdom. The chief executives who are celebrated in textbooks and placed in the top echelon of presidents in surveys of experts are the bold leaders - the Woodrow Wilsons and Franklin Roosevelts - who reshaped the United States in line with their grand “vision” for America. Unfortunately, along the way, these “great” presidents inevitably expanded government - and shrank our liberties.

1- I’m a Christian and believe that God created the heavens and the earth.
2- I’m an engineer and researcher who likes to know how things work and am always looking for the mechanisms and processes behind things.
3- For m, based on my 73 years (to date) of questioning and searching for understanding of how it all came about and looking at the vast and amazing amount of data accumulated by science, I’ve concluded that it is impossible, and I do mean impossible, for our amazing existence to have just happened. For me it have become obvious that there is purpose and plane behind our existence. Which means there is a design involved which can only exist if there is an intelligence driving the design.
4- This topic is politically incorrect for many and some of the reviews prove that very concept.
Now to why this book has value for me.
For some one who is questioning about Darwin’s theory’s and is open to discovering if there might be an alternative, this book can give a foundation for discovery far better than I can explain. It is filled with provocative questions and referenced data that can help an open minded individual decide one way or an other.
Do pay attention and look at the data, it is compelling, and a whole lot of fun to contemplate.
The book is excellent and the reviews prove the authors point

For anyone who wants a fairly complete introduction into intelligent design, this book and audio will do it for them! This may be the most complete introduction I have seen in my three years of researching this topic.
