About this listen

Amand:

I never expected my little brother's best friend to be so handsome.

As crown prince, I certainly have my pick of gorgeous men all drooling for so much as a glance. Daniel isn't like that. He was a little surprised about Ricard's royal lineage, but he's taken the shock well.

I wonder what else he can take with such grace.

Daniel:

Why didn't my best friend ever tell me he was royalty? I don't think it would have changed anything, but wow!

And wow! He's in debt up to his eyeballs to a bunch of very bad people. His brother seems like a good guy, though. Smart, fun, and incredibly good-looking. Is it out of bounds to have a crush on your buddy's brother?

I don't know, but I'm going to find out.

This novel is smoking hot, filled with royalty drama and sticky relationships. Ages 18-plus only. This material is intended for adults!

A Dreamy Prince and American!

The Prince’s Passion was a well told story about two friends who start out on an expedition and land “home”for one friend and shocking revelations for the other.

The story leads to love, romance, suspense, and ultimately two princes. I enjoyed the storyline that not only provided a romance but a thriller, in which, intertwined with love made a terrific story! I strongly recommend this book.

The story was narrated very well and told in a fashion that paid true tribute to the way the story was intended!

Good Listen

this is the stuff romances are made of, the pacing for me was a little off, with it moving a little slow then just seem to boom be done, I did back up to see if I missed something in some parts. overall thought he narration was done well and the story was a sweet and good old romance like I just love.

Armand & Daniel

A great romance story. Armand and Daniel are great together but it takes them some time to figure it out. Armand is very uptight and is very serious and dedicated to his royal duties. I really enjoyed watching them grow closer and seeing Daniel slowly help Armand unwind a bit. The narrator did a great job with the story and the characters. I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this audio book.

enjoyed it

Would I listen to it again: yes
Did the story keep me engaged: yes
Was I invested in the characters: reasonably
What did I like about the story? had good pace, interesting characters and there was a lot going on for such a short story!
Was there anything that didn't work for me? the 'fake engagement' felt rushed from the time the MC's were 'fake' engaged to the time the feelings were 'real' - i would have liked more time together / getting to know each other.

Overall comment: easy listen - good story - i just would have liked more character development 😊
Adam Eckmair has done a good job narrating The Princes Passion. I had no problem distinguishing characters and enjoyed the audio experience.

LOVE OF ART CAN LEAD TO LOVE OF ONESELF AND OTHERS

I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review

Daniel, an American, travels to Calonia searching for the last of his family with his friend Ricard only to find that Ricard is royalty and has an older brother, Amand, who fits all the requirements Daniel seeks for in a mate. A book of intrigue, betrayal, kidnapping and a firefight lead to an amazing story of people finding themselves in each other and their love of the Arts.

Good story but poor narration

I liked the story and the characters very much but the narration had mostly the same tone during all book. It was difficult to distinguish between Daniel and Armand and I missed more emotions on the narration.

All is not as it seems

It seemed Ricard used Daniel as a dodge or scapegoat unbeknownst to Dan. Daniel is in deep not only with the situation Ricard set up, but also with emotions and feelings arising for Prince Amand!! I enjoyed seeing Amand soften and change as love for Daniel grew. It was endearing to see Amand vulnerable. I actually got caught up in the drama at the end of the story. OMG! A must listen. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this story and am giving an honest review. The narrator was good.

Great Narratation

The narrator was great in executing the main characters voices and emotions. It was a nice little fairy tale, my only gripe would be that I didn’t really feel the evolution of the MC’s relationship. It was like one day they don’t like each other, the next they’re engaged. It says fake engagement book, but it was never really fake for any part of the story. I was given this credit in exchange for an honest review.

Loved it

This is another great read by Peter Styles and J.P. Oliver. Amand is Ricard's brother and is a prince, who is serious and very dedicated to his royal duties. Daniel is Ricard’s friend/roommate and is a Nerdy American photographer/writer. Ricard used Daniel and also put him in harm’s way. To keep Daniel safe Amand decided to have a fake engagement with Daniel. Amand and Daniel are great together. Daniel helps Amand to unwind and bring out his playful side. I really enjoyed this book. The narration was very well done.
