About this listen

There was a time when everyone knew what a real man was....

Now, with changing times, values, and roles, many men struggle with what it means to be a "real man" in the 21st century.

What does a real man look like? How does he act? What are his values and morals? What role does a real man play in society? The 12 commitments that Chris and Larry share cover the gamut of life, from family, including your spouse and children, work, health, finances, service, and friendships.

This little book is thought-provoking. It will both challenge you as well as encourage you. Most importantly, it will cause you to think about what kind of man you are and what kind of man you can become.

I couldn’t agree more with everything said. Being a father of two young boys, a husband, and a man in American society today it’s so discouraging listening to all the negativity around men and masculinity. It’s nice to hear a positive message about how to be the best man possible for you, your family, and your community.

Well everyone needs to hear!

I needed to be reminded that to be an effective man in this society we need to be sharpened by other effective brothers. Good work

I was irritated by the way Larry exposed his thoughts - too aggressive, shallow and arrogant.

And every time they switched back to him a thought cross my kind "ah, not him again..."

But overall, decent attempt to improve a life for a men who never thought about personal growth. For others, there are only a few words worth listening.

PS - Commitment #9 is missing. Commitment #10 is played twice instead.
