Modern-day vampires negotiate their existence in suburbia, trying to lead normal lives and stay clean with the help of their support group.
Fifteen-year-old Nina has been a vampire since 1973, and she's hated every day of it. But as sickly and tedious as her life has become, it takes a turn for the worse when a member of her therapy group is killed by an unknown vampire slayer. Threatened with extinction, she and her fellow vampires try to hunt down the culprit - and soon find themselves caught up in a dangerous quest full of guns, thugs and victimised werewolves.

Editorial reviews
The Reformed Vampire Support Group takes listeners into a world of griping and eccentric vampires who are bored and physically sickened by their newly virtuous lifestyles. But when Nina Harrison's mundane routine of going back and forth between her mother's house and her support group is disrupted by a murder, her eternal life is kicked into high gear.
Australian actress Caroline Lee, who won the Sanderson Young Narrator of the Year Award in 1998, is up to the challenge of performing in the voice of a grown woman trapped in a 15-year-old's body. Lee ably manages the romance, comedy, and mystery of this bold young adult novel.
