Publisher's summary

Far from being an engaging fable, the account of Job in the Bible is one of the most historically and scientifically accurate records of the ancient world.

Perhaps the oldest book in the Bible, the Book of Job touches on many subjects of science and history. This commentary on the controversial Book of Job is very different from most of the seminary and church teachings so prevalent today, for it attests to the historicity of a man named Job who understood at the end of his life that God cannot be "figured out", but He can most certainly be trusted.

Bad things can happen to good people

Good things can happen to bad people. Perhaps the final accounting is only done in the afterlife, in The City of God.

Good, thorough explanation of the Old Testament’s Book of Job.

highly recommended!

loved it! very insightful. I have a greater appreciation for Job's life, his remarkable example, and how his experience foreshadowed the life of Christ. This is a thoughtful analysis in layman's terms of a challenging Biblical masterpiece. The performance is excellent. Very pleasant voice.

insightful

I appreciate the attention to details in regards to Joe's life. and as a woman I could definitely look at Job's wife and assume to be more than that in the midst of all the suffering as a wife.

Great Commentary on JOB

Enjoyed very much this fresh look at the book of Job and seeing all the scientific insights in it; written by the Father of modern Creation Science.
