Even Better

This was a sweet ending to this series. I actually found this one to be better written than the others, showing the author's improvement. Also, the narrator is great!

A very merry Christmas

Soonie plans to come home for Christmas with her husband Lone Warrior but trouble meets them on the way. The community and family gather together to take care of not only Soonie’s family, but also a little girl who has no one to care for her.
The story is sweet and shows what a little love in the world can do for others around us just by simply reaching out in kindness.

Zillia and Soonie

So great to spend more time with characters from books 1 and 2 in this series. Both Soonie and Zillia are married and are excited to spend Christmas together, but many problems start to pop up and it looks like Soonie won't make it to Zillia's for Christmas after all. Enjoyable and sweet story. J Grace Pennington handled the narration expertly.

Racism Meets Character Of Purpose

Narration is great!

Zillia, Wylder and the Eckhart grandparents get together again with Soonie and her new husband Lone Warrior for the holidays. Racism rears its ugly head as does child abandonment. Lone Warrior's tenderness for his bride and strength of character shines through. Soonie isn't the scared young woman she could have become. Instead she is brave and strong under some pretty extreme pressure. Zillia has matured into a woman who feels competent in her ability to love and care for her husband Wylder along with their new baby. Orrie is..lol..Orrie. Wylder isn't in a good headspace, is in fact kind of unlikable even though I understand his reasoning. Good story!

I was given a free audiobook copy of this story at my own request in exchange for a voluntary completely unbiased review.

Cute, clean

This was a very cute short story. I enjoyed it very much.
I had no idea the Indians had rules about where they could go. It was interesting to hear that they had to have papers to go anywhere. I’m glad things have changed.
This narrator was great. She had a soft voice and she kept my interest.

Great book!

Excellently written and narrated. This was my first time listening to this author and narrator. I'll definitely listen to another book by both!

Another good book!

This Author Narration Team does great job on their books. This is the fourth book by them, that I have listened to. The setting is the Oklahoma and Texas Territories towards the end of the Indian Wars. It addresses the issues that arise at the times. I enjoy these books. It is nice to listen to a good book that isn't loaded with raunchy language and explicit scenes. Kudos for that! ❤

Has a Great Message

I listened to the audiobook of this Christmas story and it was enjoyable. It’s sweet and clean and has a great message that was brought about in it. It shows us no matter what our skin looks like or who our ancestors are we need to know a person before we judge them. I enjoyed the twist and turns. Heartaches and hurts are not pleasurable but sometimes it happens. Spoiler alert: I’m glad the end was good I was worried a time or two.
I received a copy of this audiobook from the author or narrator. I can’t remember. I volunteered to listen and review but was Not required to write a positive review. All opinions are my own.
