The vampire transition in this book was wild, I think it put Bella Swan to shame. I loved every minute of vampirism and the love behind it all.

I’ve really enjoyed this duology, and it ended SO PERFECTLY!!

Sometimes the characters drove me crazy, but I adored them. The love, friendship, family and forgiveness was so beautiful!! There are a couple of people I’m glad did not get the happily ever after the others got, but truthfully they didn’t deserve it, they didn’t show the forgiveness the others did and that makes a big difference when it comes to happiness.

This was my first read by this author, but I’m won over!! The writing was so lush, with complex characters and wonderful world building!! Highly recommended!!

The narration was beautifully done and really brought life to the characters!!

LOVE THE ENDING OF THIS DUOLOGY!!!

I almost love this love story more than Lou and Reed’s story, I have a soft spot for vampires and 1000 year old men. The cameos of all our favorite characters and the found family reminds me of the Lunar Chronicles series. I’m invested, and if Shelby wants to write about Filippa finding love I’d eat it up.
